You can manually add ebay buyers to the list and they can buy an item of you irregardless of any location restriction / payment option etc set by seller. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/services/buyandsell/biddermanagement.html Thanks... No, I've never heard of that option unless the buyer found a way to add themselves to that list? I think it's eBay just trying to push GSP onto me again without my consent. WTF do they do this as GSP is utter crap for both buyer and seller? I really hope that the buyer sees the horrendous cost of GSP (and my shipping quote) and backs out of the sale. It might be worth you reading that page i linker to as I'm guessing your also not aware of the " Blocked Bidder/Buyer List". As a seller you can add a ebay username to that list and that person is blocked from bidding / buying (possibly messaging aswell) any of your selling items. I used to use it all the time when I listed via auction, but it is alot better to sell via buy it now listings and selecting "require immediate payment" as this filters out the people who just click buy and don't pay. Lighten up once in a while and find a few positive things to say about this LEGO passion we all share. If this post come across as out of place or disrespectful, I won't be apologizing. The only thing I'm sorry about is it took having about 4 whiskeys in me to finally call out the negativity, Mr. Tabby.
Shewie
How much time it takes to have your item actually listed on ebay in search engine? Created new offer 2h ago but it's not even showing in search engine, anyone?

Created new offer 2h ago but it's not even showing in search engine, anyone? Typically it's nearly instant as I've sold items within a few minutes of listing. I think eBay's glitching tonight as some weird stuff is going on. I've just had another buyer buy the same item that's already been sold to somebody else and paid for! Luckily, I have another available to send out. I'm ending all other listings now until this mess is sorted out.

trstnkn
Seller I've bought from in the past has reemerged on eBay. Has nice sets, good deals. However, I noticed (when checking his pricing against sets that sold) that he is buying a set on eBay then 5-7 days later he is taking the previously bought listing and selling the item. He's hijacking the entire listing, text, pictures, etc. Then selling it either at a loss of a $10-15 or selling it at a gain of $10-15. But he's obviously losing money on every transaction. Might be overthinking this but just seems really odd. Scam? Serial builder? Why would someone do this? He barely has time to receive the item and it's back up for sale. Some people are just addicted to buying things, they can't go a couple of days / weeks without the satisfaction of clicking the buy button and getting a package delivered to them. Then about a week after when the credit card bill hits them the realise they can't afford it so need to sell. I'm sure there's lots of people like that on here (I used to be like that a long time ago but now alot more disciplined).

It could be someone that enjoys building, and is then just ready to move on. Without seeing the specific examples, I couldn't say if it was something more. trstnkn
Thanks for the feedback. Based on his previous listings 1-2 years ago, I'm going to think he has a compulsive buying habit. I guess he is shifting his behavior from buying and hoarding to buying and quickly selling. Oddly, his listings run the gamut - from early castle to current sets. Sets could be used. Or he often has sets new in open box. He has been quiet for about a year until the past week or so.

edgecrusher
So I have a listing up on eBay for a 10174 UCS AT-ST. It is open box, but the bags are all sealed. I have it listed correctly as "Used", but it is the lowest priced listing for a 10174 that hasn't already been constructed by a pretty wide margin. It's listed at $429.99 with buyer paying shipping. I got this offer yesterday: Offer Received: $38.00 Message: "no, ATSTs sell for about $40 retail" I declined the offer, with a response: "This is not set #75153. It is the much larger, long retired ultimate collectors series set." Much to my surprise, another offer popped up from the same buyer about 4 hours later: Offer Received: $100.00 Message: "Oh, sorry....then at the standard dime per piece, its about $100." At this point, I should have walked away. I didn't walk away. Message to Buyer: "New to Lego, or just trolling? Dime per piece on retired UCS sets is...not a thing." Late last night, the "buyer" sent a message: "Thanks for refusing my $100 bid! The Lepin clone of that model sells for $39 on ALiExpress...you just saved me a lot of $$$ :P". Not going to send a message back. FRUIT. CAKE.

Upsetting a buyer by taking their bait opens you up to abuse further down the line eg. by buying and then returning an item for no reason.
