jaisonline
Nothing truly special. Based on availability, The Zombies and Batman 1 The Tumbler. Something tells me my owned since childhood King's Castle, Black Forrest Forrest, and The Armor Shop were vast produced.
Fcbarcelona101
Market Street. Not really rare, but not as common as some other sets.
Quacs
Like many, I don't have rare per se, but I have some cool vintage: Caribbean Clipper, Black Seas Barracuda, El Dorado's Fortress, and the gray King's Castle.
sadowsk1
I've got an Orc Forge. ...2012 from the Lord of the Rings collection. Now your talking my speed. I haven't really had a chase item come to me yet, someday I'm sure.
spener90
Either the Holiday Train, which I was lucky to pick up for $50 one year (hasn't been built either), or the entire modular line that is sitting nice in a row.
Darth_Raichu
I have this 4x4 base plate that I signed my name on with a Sharpie. I bet you that is pretty rare, as in the only one in the world. That is unless I decided to sign my name on some other bricks

I have the same from my childhood except insert "black falcons" castle instead of kings castle!
Quacs
I have the same from my childhood except insert "black falcons" castle instead of kings castle! Those were all great sets. Definitely provided some serious fun during my formative years. I had Black Monarch's Castle as well as KC - definitely a step up. I also had Forestmen's Crossing and Forestmen's hideout, but never got the River Fortress. Still ticked to this day...

The forrestmen were my favorite! I believe I have all of them but haven't actually checked the whole list on brickset. I know I have those 3 plus more stored away. akohns
Market Street. Not really rare, but not as common as some other sets. You can't really say its not rare when it sells for 1000% retail after just 4 years EOL.
akohns
I have the same from my childhood except insert "black falcons" castle instead of kings castle! BSB is an awesome set. It really takes a long time to build compared to something like the black pearl.
Diabolos80
Oh, I also have a MISB 10175 Vader's TIE Advanced. I got it from iBrickshop back in Feb for $280 sooo hard not to rip it open and build it, but I've decided it'll be worth $600 by 2015... TheOrcKing
I don't know about 'rare' exactly. I have one The Zombies set and two The Orc Forges, all at retail. I have the original yellow castle from 1981 and some other oldies but not sure being old makes them rare as such. I have collected some of the DK book minifigures if that somehow counts. That Bizarro is super awesome and sure wish I had one. You're a lucky man, ExoBro94! jaisonline
Does having the original boxes and instructions from my childhood 1984-1986 Castle sets make mine more rare . Prob not. Darn. Anyway, I just sold my gold chrome plated c3po and have one left. I assume that is my rare item.
kerrmando
I guess 10179 might be my most expensive set... I doubt it's the rarest? I've got quite a bit of sealed 60's-70's stuff
ExoBro94
Trying to get some of the minifigs from this round of SDCC. Being a collector sucks... haha.

agp548
Well, I purchased a Black Suit Superman. I'll post pictures when he arrives. Nice. Hope it didn't cost you a fortune.
ExoBro94
Nice. Hope it didn't cost you a fortune. I was saving up for it for a while actually. I keep a reserve of money that I use for occasions such as this one. Plus, with only 200 being made, I think it will hold it's value extraordinarily well. But it's for my collection, so I won't sell it unless I absolutely need to (which will never happen, with the way I have learned to budget ).
