So today I went out and bought eight series ten minifigures. Anyways, I noticed that the bag is somewhat translucent. Did anyone ever try shining a bright flashlight under the bag to see what's inside? Does anyone want to try? I won't be getting any new minifigures soon, so someone please reply with results.

I have never bought minifigures, but I might try this for fun. I like doing things like this to try and find out whats in the package.

Then I'm not sure if the flashlight would work for you either. First, you need a really bright flashlight, not your average kind. Second, you can't see printing you can just make out the shapes of parts so you just look for the unique element(s). I find a mix of bump code and feeling to be the fastest.

I did use an opened bag, put some pieces in it, and sealed it with tape. I works somewhat well, or at least better than feeling the bag. Then again, I completely forgot about bump codes, hehe.

I've never heard you could use a flashlight to 'peak' through a package. Interesting....

Smooshing does take a while to get used to it as well as remembering what to feel for, but it has been 100% effective every time for me.

I still think weight is the fastest method, as long as you know the weights beforehand.

Haven't tried a flashlight though, never new they were somewhat transparent.  Is it just S10 or do the other series work like that as well?

Well the packages are slightly teansparent, especially on the "questions marks" themselves (the package has the question mark background). I think other series should work, but never tried them.
