Darth_Raichu
Then it is probably true because everyone is super honest and would never try to scam you, especially on the internet????? I just use the new Google Nose to sniff out any potential scammers :p

srm_520
I tend to find that everyone on Craiglist is an honest hard working person who would never scam anyone... (said no one ever) Hopefully it is an April Fools joke - but sadly it is probably just some scammer.

Fcbarcelona101
With those prices he could probably "Sell" those sets several times to several people in a couple days and make more than $400.
stephen_rockefeller
Its very sad that there are so many unsuspecting people out there.......I feel this add should be flagged.
cflannagan
Ask him to post pixs of the sets with a piece of paper with his name handwritten on it sitting next to those sets. I doubt he'd be able to comply.
comicblast
And not a very good scammer at that.....he is only gonna make away with 400 bucks, what a loser!!!!!! Go big or go home!!Right...if its a scam, make it believable. Who sells something they know nothing about?! Could have "sold" it for $2,300 and gotten away with nearly 8x the amount of money. He is stupid to think he can scam, giving us a crack deal like that!"If the deal is too good to be true, it probably is!"
Fcbarcelona101
Thing is, he'll probably scam someone. If not more than one.
comicblast
Just found something: http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/tag/3716032943.html. He looked all right, but then again, I would have to sell like most of my collection in order to get it. Does it seem legit to anyone?

comicblast
lol this guy must be friends with the one I saw.IKR. The boxes both look like they are in mint condition, so its hard to differentiate whether either is different then the other. I hate scammers, but I hate losing a good deal, nearly as much! Jimmyh70
Just did a quick Craigslist search in my area for Lego and this same exact ad came up for MS area. Definitely a scam.

Looks like you get two for the price as the two pictures are of different boxes. The first is the limited edition run and the other of the second run. stephen_rockefeller
Its says he need to sell them because of an emergency.......as long as you dong send him any money and go check out these sets in person, I don't see the problem. My initial reaction is this could be legit but even if it was a true story and it was an emergency he could get much much more money for these.....and fast, at least double if not triple what he is asking. I don't see any harm in going to check them out if anyone lives in that area.
Fcbarcelona101
He claims to have 2 more besides the one he is selling... I wonder
vincevaughn
As long as you can go inspect the set (seals, condition and weight) and complete the transaction right there in person I don't see an issue. If anything at all seems fishy just be ready to eject. Couldn't hurt to at least try...might just score the find of the year...
