TheOrcKing Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 To kick off this reservoir topic, here are a handful of LEGO music videos to get the bricks-a-buildin'. Coldplay - Viva La Vida Zack the LEGO Maniac I Love Buildin' Build LEGO, Let's Go! We Like Them Girls There are plenty of fan flicks animated in LEGO out there but these should make a good start I think. Please feel free to share your personal favorites! Here are links to a couple of fantastic sites for all sorts of LEGO stop-motion clips. Brickfilms Bricks In Motion 1 Quote
TheOrcKing Posted October 4, 2012 Author Posted October 4, 2012 Well, here are some videos with awesome music and trippy stop-motion animation. Rymdreglage 8-bit trip Raise your little hand Kallbrand (instrumental) Retard but happy (instrumental) ....Wow. That's all I can honestly manage to say. The tunes are really good and the stop-motion animated mosaics of old 8-bit game screenshots is simply beyond words. The last three may share a few segments but still impressive. Clearly a lot of planning and forethought went into these. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 For the non-music video variety, here is a small collection of various clips ranging from horror to comedy to awesomeness. Darth Lego Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I wanted to start a thread to talk about the millions of videos and stop motions made with LEGO. (Now a movie in LEGO is coming out too.) Here are some of my favorites. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIxNiAFUCXM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ESA7SnvW9E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izp4V6RJSD4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mq5GMD7OD6Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKDJTX6YoCw 1 Quote
Guest eightbrick Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 WARNING: The following post is long and has several youtube videos embedded. Oh you should have not made this thread, I have way too many choices . I'll start with the obvious, Keshen8. He does action and comedy, I personally prefer his comedic episodes, but his action scenes feature brilliant cinemetography. (warning: contains an f-bomb at 0:53, I would mute it at that point if you are near any younger ones) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1Hpp3n8Gs4 And Zachmg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KRmtQeTucE Next. some more "indie" brickfilmers such as NXTManiac (a fellow canadian). He has a variety of films, here is one of his music videos (brilliant effects, better than the real music video): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkrklFoRwUM And lastly, one of the best ~5 minutes you will spend on Youtube, a hilarious zombie movie by NickDurron. If you like it, check out the sequel, Zombie Exodus. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQW0sGkgqCI That's enough for one post. Enjoy! Quote
TheOrcKing Posted July 7, 2013 Author Posted July 7, 2013 Hey Brianl3, you had your media tags backwards. The / goes on the second (or end) one like this. I took care of it and just pointing that out for future posts. Good clips by the way. Quote

I tried it like that the first time but it didn't work, probably a different error by me. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted July 7, 2013 Author Posted July 7, 2013 Here is a small selection from Keshen8 (aka Custard Productions). Practically, the name when it comes to stop-motion LEGO clips! TheOrcKing Posted July 7, 2013 Author Posted July 7, 2013 I wanted to start a thread to talk about the millions of videos and stop motions made with LEGO.Man, you reminded me of two of my first ever created topics here at BrickPicker. One was for "Music Videos in Lego", the other was "Misc Clips in Lego". I went back, merged those with this, and edited the posts to match with the current forum setup. I had to add two extra posts to spread out some from those older posts seeing how there is a six videos per post limit. Hopefully this will get the ball rolling finally. It's funny reading how I talked back then compared to now. Quote
Guest eightbrick Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Nice picks, OrcKing, it seems we like the same kind of brickfilms. Seeing as the majority of videos here are music videos or action, I found a pick that combines the two. The animation isn't great, but the set makes up for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48W3o9ShWwY Just in time to get pumped up for the Lone Ranger Quote

Those videos you've posted are pretty awesome! No harm done. As you can see from the their original postdates, they are really old! In any case, it was like a friendly reminder to bring them back to the fold. As they say, "Let the good times roll!" Nice picks, OrcKing, it seems we like the same kind of brickfilms. Thanks, and you just gave me inspiration for an even better thread title. Quote

Guest eightbrick Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Here's another I found hidden real deep in Lego's Youtube channel. (vid removed for space) Wow. A lot of people don't appreciate mosiac and brick building shots, but the pirate and part where he transformed were amazing. I think I may have seen this a long time ago... Great find! Anyone fancy Keshen's latest sarcastic video? Warning: strong language, drug use, and references to... er.... nothing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvxlA4fLn8E Quote
