TheOrcKing
When you have little kids, you just have to go with the flow... Yeah, I bet I would get stuck having to watch the Care Bears or something similiar too. Do you think Hellraiser was scary ? Here is one video for your nightmare You know, I can watch all the Hellraiser and Nightmare on Elm Street films without even flinching once, but that....that right there is pure eeeeeevil!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf_oTAU2cpI

Darth Lego
I also love Band of Brothers. I've always been an avid WW2 buff. Same here. I became really into WW2 about 4 years ago and I haven't stopped reading about it since. I have read many books about Band of Brothers including Beyond Band of Brothers: The War Memoirs of Major **** Winters, We Who Are Alive and Remain: Untold Stories from the Band of Brothers, Brothers In Battle, Best of Friends, and Band of Brothers: E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne from Normandy to Hitler's Eagle's Nest. I enjoyed reading all of those books. I am also subscribed to the WW2 History Magazine. I've watched the Band of Brothers mini-series 3 to 4 times and I even wrote a paper about it for school. I have only seen parts of Saving Private Ryan. Have you seen The Pacific? It's a very good mini-series by HBO.
TheOrcKing
I feel like going down the way of horror films for no good reason. These two here are a couple of my favorites. Like the tagline states, "The most fun you'll ever have being scared...." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trHvkuSON0I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0EVwXd_lvxM Oh and by the way, if anyone can guess who played the character of Jordy Verrill in the first one gets an automatic thumbs up! (Especially if you can remember what he always said about 'luck'. ) There was a third sequel but that sucked major portions of ass. Course it had nothing to do with Stephen King or George Romero unlike the first two, so duh.

Ugh, how the heck is it I can find just about every other thing under the sun like "Soylent green is made from people!" all the way to "girl lights own fart on fire" and yet not that! AUGH!!!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jq9JaTp7pFo
Darth_Raichu
Lets take this thread to a completely different direction. Favorite Jackie chan movies !!! Has anyone ever seen this gem called City Hunter ? It is a Hong Kong movie based on a popular 90s japanese comics / manga. This goofy movie is about a private detective solving a the mystery on a cruise ship. I do not think this movie was ever dubbed in English. Not a problem for me since I am a purist, subtitles or go home !! Here is the best scene of the movie. Fair warning, disturbing images towards the end http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4Psls1ngwM By the way, this clip is 2000x better than whatever that thing starring Jean Claude Van Damme
JoshTX
City Hunter is an awesome Jackie Chan gem that surprisingly few have seen. It's right up there with Police Story as one of my favorites. You have to be ok with the sheer campiness of it, but I guess most ofJackie's movies are pretty campy anyway.

TheOrcKing
Here is the best scene of the movie. By the way, this clip is 2000x better than whatever that thing starring Jean Claude Van Damme Anything was better than that pile of poop. I wasn't that huge of a Street Fighter fan at the time and even I thought the live action movie sucked. Then again, the woman that played Cammy....all I can say is, damn. She certainly had the legs! Well, so much for trying to talk about favorite horror films....

That's Kylie Minogue, she is/was pretty big pop music star in Europe, though she never really got to Britney Spears levels of popularity over here in the states. I don't know how to multi-quote, but anyway yeah, let's return this to horror and one of my favorite scenes of all-time... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2uPJQVncHE EDIT: Hey OrcKing, how can I get this to show up as a "player" and not just the link? TheOrcKing
EDIT: Hey OrcKing, how can I get this to show up as a "player" and not just the link?I have to add these bits of code at the beginning and end of every video link for a while now for some reason. So your video link would look like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2uPJQVncHE It did automatically change the link into a video at the start of the forum change but some reason reverted back to doing the ol' hypertext link bit.
JoshTX
Yeah I remember it doing it automatically at one point. But thanks for letting me know. By the way, that actor that gets run through with the drill is the same guy that gets his twig and berries violently removed in another Italian horror film, "Cannibal Ferox". I'm not going to post that video here due to the graphic nature, but it can be found on youtube.
TheOrcKing
These were considered to be horror films way back in the day but now they're not so much scary as intriguing with a little bit of humor nicely mixed in there. These really are cinema classics and great examples of Vincent Price's uniqueness.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdaRO3kDLishttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ytb23pMWEjU

The older Jackie Chan's movies are the best IMHO because most of them are campy, funny, and the stunts are 100% real. His newer movies are very serious (Karate Kid, Chinese Zodiac) and some are too "theatrical" for my taste (the Myth, the Forbidden Kingdom). I guess as he gets older he prefers the acting over action Oh, you mean the part where Jackie Chan is dressed up as Chun Li? Yeah, that was rather disturbing. Their older stuff was more comedy, but when they themselves got older they became more serious which wasn't exactly a bad thing just different tastes. I do prefer Jackie Chan's older work with all their campy, quirky, fun. Here is your girl, TheOrcKing, I am sure you recognize the song:I definately recognize the tune....and think I saw some nipple around the middle. Then when the music video ended, there was another one that popped up for Alex Gaudino - "Destination Calabria". I don't even dare link to that. I do not think those are true anymore, unless they make Rush Hour 4 I definately recognize the tune....and think I saw some nipple around the middle. TheOrcKing
To contribute something and jumpstart a little more discussion, how about favorite cartoons? I'm a cartoon nut so I like a lot of them. Here's but one of mine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psnCd3aFLmc And if you liked that series, you ought to check out the classic TV series, "Get Smart" The main actor that played Maxwell Smart, Don Adams, was the voice of Inspector Gadget. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElqZms_SUjg

Guest eightbrick
Cartoons? Spongebob was one of my favorites as a kid, other than that I don't really favor anything in the "saturday morning cartoon" section. That said, I like animated movies (basically just all the mainstream stuff: Disney, Dreamworks, Studio Ghibli etc.). I have dabbled with stop motion and considering how hard I found it, I have a lot of respect for animators.
