Eh.  I'll see it once I can rent it for free at the local library.  I prefer the original LOTR trilogy.  Can't win them all.

I believe the LOTR trilogy movies were made first because they were more "movie" material, so I'm not surpised that there are some folks out there not thrilled about the movie. I do think that The Desolation of Smaug was a bit of a let down, but the Battle of the Five Armies appears to be redemption.

So this is gonna be my 500th post and I guess there is hardly a better place for it than this thread.

Thanks for sharing the trailer, it really looks awesome.

I do have high hopes for this movie and I'm really looking forward to watching it.

The LEGO sets didn't really wow me though... (at least I like the dragon!)

This looks amazing.  Hopefully it will spark some additional interest in both the LOTR and the Hobbit line....not real sure how anyone can like one but not the other.

Well, it's more than a shoe this time.

That carriage was so full of gold you would think the fairy was overcompensating for growing up in poor neighborhood :)

Nitpick: when she was a housemaid, Cinderella's costume was too clean/bright/colorful. Why couldn't they make her costume dirtier and duller ? Was this due to the target audience ?

And.. Robb Stark FTW !!!!

Wowie zowie, they certainly put a whole lot into this version.

Ha. That much gold, I'm surprised the thing could actually move.

Her maid's outfit did appear awfully clean. I can only recall seeing some smudged dirt across her face from sweat. I don't know; I didn't pay a lot of attention to that detail much as Helena Bonham Carter being the Fairy Godmother which is perfect. :wizard:

The tip off was that this was posted here at 12AM, if it had been legit, some die-hard here would have posted it earlier in the day when it was actually released.

That said, I still clicked it.....  :notme:

"...and somehow I still enjoyed this more than Episode I"

The guy is right about that!
