mooch777 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Times Square exclusive figure now listed for sale on Amazon. Quote
willy431 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Who cares. I wonder who bids these foolish things up so high. At least Mr.gold had a certificate and was somewhat neat. Yoda in a stupid shirt? I guess for the person who has everything. Quote
Etan Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Anything that is an exclusive for a period of time will sell, regardless what it is. Quote
akohns Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Yoda in a stupid shirt? Aside from if I was a diehard Yoda fan who grew up in NY I'm not a big fan. Lots of much better looking figures that you could spend your money on. Quote
Mos_Eisley Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 This has been for sale for weeks. Is there some special reason for this announcement? Quote

willy431 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 If you really want something like this, just buy a regular yoda, and go to a silk screening place. It wouldn't be authenitic--but they could get it damn close for cheap. Or even an air brush artist. Quote

cambridge02138 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 This Amazon seller is also selling Jabba's Palace for $250 ... incredible indeed. Quote
ExoBro94 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 TIP: Amazon is never the place to buy exclusives/retired sets that are being sold by third parties. Amazon's customer base is made up of more affluent members of society compared to eBay and other shopping sites. Thus, sellers mark up prices and can get away with it because consumers are uninformed or do not care enough to shop around. I currently only deal on Amazon, and 9 times out of 10 the sets I sell are overpriced. I'm kinda shocked/disgusted by it a little. Not that I'm really complaining though... Quote
choppers605 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 The last three Yodas to sell on ebay were two days ago, all three did in the 180.00 range, so this amazon yoda is actually a deal compared to eBay. As goofy as this yoda is, I see it fetching 300.00 by Xmas time. Quote
