willy431
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Star-Wars-Mini-Millennium-Falcon-7965-/111106832665?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item19de7bb919 At least the price was right! And can't complain about the tissue paper wrapping up a $139 retail set I guess...shipping was free after all. The pictures don't do this mess justice..it's at least 3x as bad as it looks in those. I am an engineer, and have no idea how they were able to crease almost the entire box! ~80% of the front has a crease going through it--Dutch tape was gone. Replaced with Scottish. DoNotInsertIntoMouth
Lol I had thought about buying that one. Almost pulled the trigger. Not bad if you want to build one and done want to have to go through abunch of mixed in used pieces.
pickleboy
I'd send it back.
oldsmobile
Not a good packaging job by any stretch of the imagination. I'd complain and try to get the seller to cough up a few dollars as an apology. On the other hand, a Falcon for $85 shipped is a nice score even if the box is in poor shape.
Msudawgs56
Geez... Didn't even put it in a box. That's bad! Sorry!
JoshTX
That's a builder for sure. But this could be a win situation for you, if you can get the seller to give you some kind of partial refund. He hung himself with his poor item description and shipping practices and you'll either get your money back or get some kind of additional discount. spener90
Those stickers look like they might have been an Amazon Warehouse deal at one point?
sadowsk1
A great price to build at. What you received doesn't seem representative of what was in the pictures as posted on facebook. I would say it's worth mentioning to the seller.
akohns
You should definitely negotiate a discount for the damage. I just sold a used copy of this set on ebay for $120...
comicblast
"Brand new sealed box". Great description! Even if you were to invest in this one, you would still make a bit of money for a quick transaction like this. Too bad I missed this one! LowestFormOfWit
It probably was sealed. The sod just shipped it in a paper bag. I could've shipped it more safely with a roll of brown gas station paper towels and some tape. I should point out, that sticker is a Walmart inventory label. Go find a Walmart that has these on hand, seal it up as best you can, and try to do an even exhchange for a new one at the customer service desk. At least that's what I would do. Hell, I'd take it to three Walmarts if one would let me change out that unfortunate box.
Diabolos80
You could ask for a discount for sure. It'll help your bottom line, but it will also help the next guy who buys from that seller. A dent in his wallet will encourage him to do a bit better next time.
