That looks like a lot of work... Especially if you sell those individually

I spent Thanksgiving break teaching my son the fundamentals of proper packaging.  We negotiated 50 cents a package and extra 2 min on iPad after he's done his homework.

I guess that´s what the Renault brand value is worth. If only it had been a Ferrari.

If you want to know more about Renaults, ask any AA or RAC patrol, they see a lot of 'em ;-)

That's a great strategy. I recently sold about 15 sets a day or so for the month of December and both my kids thanked me for the opportunity to make some extra $$ but looked at the pile of sets to be packed and shipped and walked the other way. I can't wait to sell my other 5000 sets...

I picked up Assault on Hoth #75098 this past Saturday at my local LEGO store. Was out to get my Gingi and they had it on sale for $175. Had $15 in rewards so I used that along with the free mini London bus offer. I should have gotten an extra 100 points according to website (bonus on any Star Wars sets), so I have to call about that. States cannot be combined with any other VIP offer. Maybe that is why it did not kick in?

Anyway, I've been wanting this set, but only if under $200.  I don't have any prior Hoth sets as I just starting collecting last Christmas.

Quick question anyone know if the 75098 Assault on Hoth is on sale for $175 at most Lego B/M stores in the US or was this just a left over from black Friday at this Lego store?

Thanks for any info on this

it could be easily any other fomula car - be it McLaren or Williams.. its just .. it looks so precise and perfect! it my humble opinion - compared to all these Racers sets, this one just totally stands out - most likely also to the prominent orange/yellow colour of the hull.

Agreed and I would love to build one from parts, have you seen the instructions posted online yet?

No, i havent. but there was also another one formula RS27 experimental concept released only in 40 sets and have the name of the guy on FB, who was offering the instruction for that one. So I can give you his name and you might contact him.

Found someone local on Facebook marketplace with a new sealed 9526 Palpatines Arrest listed for $150. I messaged and offered $125 and she got back to me half hour later saying she made a mistake and meant to only list it for $100. So I asked if $100 was ok and she said yes. A few hours later I met her at a nail salon and I had my desired set. Not the deal of the century but I definitely saved a few bucks on an awesome retired set.

I told her to let me know if she has any other sets she’s looking to get rid of so hopefully there are more deals to be had.
