Did they send like that or in a box?

Yes they were packed really well in an outer box with loads of brown paper which made it even more strange. The 3 IST's I ordered  were all lose in a oversized box rattling around without any extra packing but survived really well.

They are struggling with demand and cutting corners like most retailers these days. At least they weren't trampled on like my TRU order. I keep asking the question of why aren't they left in factory boxes like Asda often do? It'll save a lot of work for everybody and make a customer very happy!

I have phoned and complained and they are sending replacements, the nice lady on the phone offered £25 off or a swap over as all the boxes have tape damage I chose the latter.

She said they have had complaints all day about smashed boxes.

I only had 3x 41106 Friends Buses that were smashed but, for the sake of £8 each, I'll just QFLL them unboxed for £25 once the heat on eBay has died down. Was that £25 off each of for all 3? If each, I'd have bitten her hand off. TRU haven't even bothered replying to me yet and my email was polite, honest.

It makes you wonder how they'll cope if this Friday is a repeat.

It was £25 off all 3 combined which didn't seem worth it to me, I did keep my options open and she took a note down, as they were showing out of stock at first on her system.

I was a bit hacked of as I ummed and arred about putting my money in these as they were at rrp, but I fancy a Phasma for my minifigure collection and think they might do ok post retirement. maybe less hoarded than other sets....we will see.

TRU had BF prices in store today from 1-4 PM EST for Rewards members. They had a lot of new sets I grabbed these and the boat. They also have a neat looking sailboat and a street sweeper that I think has a really cool new element, blue bristle brush.

similar to the one in the Mixel? 41573 Sweepz?

Ah, rats. I got the A-Wing pilot and FO General instead. Pity I didn't see the Pizza Truck.

Bought a 71342 Dimensions Green Arrow for $9.97, with a free 71240 Dimensions Bane included. Or was it the other way around?

Extreme-QF'd the Green Arrow ($30 on EBay, wasn't the cheapest seller, still sold within an hour of being listed) and used the proceeds to buy a Marty McFly BTTF Level Pack @ TRU for $14.99 (50% off) so I can add Marty to my Doc Brown, and added my first CSG to get to free shipping.

Long time since I purchased something for almost full price at KMart, but got myself a last-chance 75902 Mystery Machine for personal build (as it will come flat as a pancake for sure) for $27.99 at KMart, with $36 back in points, free shipping. I'll put the points to good use :)

$74.11 starting price is nowhere near full price, especially this late in the game. :) I received one this week and it was in decent shape.

That's Mystery Mansion, not Mystery Machine (which I bought just now, at $27.99, with MSRP $29.99 but KMART RRP of $32.99)

10x 60080 Spaceports off eBay at half price. These came from Tesco in good condition rather than bashed up from Argos. Seller has another 80 that I'm getting for £2,000 cash offline. These QFLLs are losing a lot of money by not waiting until next year like I will be ;-)

Also a VW T1 from SaH which should end up at £40 after 9.16% Quidco and selling snow globe. I already have 22x VW T1 so I'll build this one.
