Hello all,

New member to the club and new to the world of Lego collecting. My lego addiction started about a month ago and I my collection have consist of mostly current UCS SW sets with some older one mixed in and Ninjago for my son. I've been scouring CL for Lego sale and came accross a guy who I purchased a MISB 10188 Death Star for $320. Today he emailed me with some other sets he has for sale:

10232 Palace Cinema

10228 Haunted House

10214 Tower Bridge

9516 Jaba Palace

All four sets for $500. Retail price for all is $690 w/o tax (CA resident). From an investment perspective, are these sets worth plunking down 5 Benjamins? His asking price is very attractive. Thank all.

Hello and welcome to brickpicker. Good deal on the death star. I'd also buy all 4 of those up for $500 in an instant.

Sofia the First is Disney's very poor and botched attempt at giving the Latina/Hispanic audience an "identifying princess" for their race. It's pretty awful. I'm keeping my daughter 20,000 miles from it.

Yeah looks like someone changed the plans because Sophia is definitely not Hispanic. The show is wildly popular even though it only comes on once a week.

If those are MISB, get in the car now and go get them! What a steal for $500. You're basically getting a free HH while paying retail for two sets that don't discount often, and JP, a set that has proven to be popular - last month it was the top selling set on eBay.

One of the Walmarts near me just marked their toy clearance "room" (the old nail salon in the front of the store) 50% off all Red Tags. Picked up a Ghost Train for $27 and a Crazy Sci & His Monster for $17! First time I've seen an opportunity to get either of these sets cheaper than the $54 and $35 prices they've been stuck at for the last two months.

I picked up The Hobbit Barrel escape and some other odds and ends to get the Lego store grand reopening in my area.  Walked away with a nice poly of birthday cake, exclusive minifigure package, and Jor El.  The event itself was a little underwhelming.  I think it was because it was more of a sprawl than it was a statue or large model build.
