Today I picked up the following two items:

42036 Street Motorcycle - Target
21301 Ideas Birds - Amazon.com

I am very happy with each purchase and torn to open the motorcycle and build it or sit and admire for a little longer, in the box.

Spent some $$ on Ebay, all for building pleasure and longterm hold:

10179 UCS MF used but in mint condition $2951

10179 UCS MF used but in mint condition $3130

75059 Sandcrawler $305

60097 City square $144 (2x)

10234 Sydney Opera House $311

10232 Palace Cinema $142

3450 Statue of Liberty, used $765

10185 Green grocer. Used but in mint, boxed condition.$900

and a bunch of vintage space stuff from the eightees including 2 x497 for less than $100 each. This is one of my favorite sets of all time.

Anyhow, I should have a decent amount of extra buck to spend next quarter!

I hope you like to build as verifying completness on those used sets will be an arduous yet rewarding experience.

I'd guess the Statue of Liberty will be the most tedious....

it's a great set and have been lucky to see Ed's SoL set.

i won't allow myself to buy that set because then a xxxx  piece base / pedestal (like ed's) would be required in my house :(  too much cash nowadays.

Went to TRU but left with only one of those "Bricktober" Ninjago bubblepacks for my son, then found some deals at other stores on the way home. Prices include tax, SYW points, coupons, etc. Ninja Turtles was on clearance at BAM, got the Friends sets from Kmart.

Grabbed a lingering Cantina at Wal-Mart for $50, a $9 Kashyyyk Trooper pack (both for myself), and a 31039 Blue Power Jet with an errant $25 sticker on it (it rang up at $49.99 but was overridden by the cashier).

DID some TRUTH'ing today:

75101 tie fighter: Price match to amz 55.99 - $45 rewards = $11.95 otd (she forgot to add the 10% for tru card)

75101 tie fighter: Price match to amz 55.99 - 20% off for tru card = $48.71 otd (she gave me 20% because she forgot the 10% above)

42030 Volvo Wheel Loader: Price match to amz 227.99 - 10% off for tru card = $223.14 otd

The @ a Target on the way home I found a 75080 SW AAT NOT marked clearance, but out of place = $12.90 otd w/red card

My sales tax is 8.75%

A Benny's Space Ship for $64 and two Hydra Fortress Smash for $31 each from Toys R Us.  At 35% off list I think these items have upside.  I only had two fortresses so having another two is good.  I only had one Benny's space ship so I think added a second one is a solid diversification call.  I don't see these going much lower and knowing my points total went up today as well makes this an even easier decision.  There were three fortress I left on the shelf for next but it was the last space ship.

Went back to local BAM to grab 3 or more Seattle Space Needles, they were all gone. Last night they had 5. Found 1 in the back so I left with it for $17.99

Of the sets? Or just at the sold hx on Ebay. I'm easy to find there

I just like seeing pics of sets.  Especially epic sets such as those.

Edit:  Thought I'd add;  usually when someone says that, it's just another way of saying, "Holy hell!  I wanna see pics of those!"
