Shop Your Way has been very good for me this month. I want to give exciter1 a high five for all his posts about SYW; you've saved me a ton of money!

I feel like I've committed a crime with some of these prices. I love KMart!

MC 21120: THE SNOW HIDEOUT - $13.77

31039: BLUE POWER JET - $56.87

60092: DEEP SEA SUBMARINE - $26.16

[drumroll]

60033: ARCTIC ICE CRAWLER - 48 cents (!)

Nice!  I bought a bunch of Grievous Wheelbikes from them recently,  before they went out of stock.  Can't help myself, I've been buying Changing Seasons and City: Service Trucks during the $10 back in points between 12am-6am deal.  Also bought a Blue Power Jet in-store and some City: Training Jets.

I also bought a K'NEX KISS Rock Stage during lunch at Ollie's.  I stop in there like once a year before Christmas.  They didn't have much else.  Now I have the stage for my figures.  $16

Ordered a King's Castle (70494) from Blinq for $93

Also picked up another Technic Bulldozer (42028) for investment and a 24 Hr Race Car (42039) for myself for $80

What's the deal with this site? I have no experience with them, seems like 50% of their stuff are deals, 50% is listed at reseller prices...

For my own purchase today, I decided to use the TRUTH tactics combined with some rewards I had to pick up a lonely mountain for $52.98

The rumors are true.  Picked up my first ever friends lego set at ross, dolphin cruiser for 44.99.  I like this ship and i liked the price.  It was also worth it just to see my son stare at me with a look of disbelief as i paid for it.  He made a couple loud comments about not wanting a girls set in front of some women but then in the car away from any girls, he says "i think i want to build this ship, it looks pretty cool".  Punk kids these days

Bought another one of the Vader/Luke Buildable Figure Combo Packs today at TRU and got the two free polys (C3PO and Space Vehicle).  Trying to spend the minimum to get the free polys---time will tell if the Vader/Luke is a good choice.  I'm not sold one way or the other.

Oh, and found a Gallimimus poly buried in the Space Vehicle bin....$3.05 after discounts.

Priceless. My 9 year old son won't touch Friends with a 9 foot pole either, but he is happy wearing pink and claiming it as one of a few favorite colors, because "it's boss." BCA + Football for a few seasons has no doubt encouraged his "metro" attitude, in admirably ironic fashion.

On topic, 2 IR at TRU, $100 + tax and struggle to get ANY free poly with the space cadets working there these days. Appropriately, they would only offer me the space utility vehicle.

Not entirely sold on the buildable figures yet either, as an investment, but I do think the Vader-Luke and Obi Wan-Grevous combo packs add a little something to the equation vs buying them separate. In the long run, I'm guessing  significantly fewer of these editions will make their way into the secondary market.

As an aside, I did see the General Grevous assembled in person at the LEGO store and it was much larger and cooler than I imagined. Definitely worthy of display on a desk corner or bookshelf at the office.
