Picked up my very first damaged set for an extra 500 VIP points. Tumbler. I've never seen damaged sets before.

Nice one. Usually they keep the damaged boxes in the backstock room. They will usually have a list up at the front desk of all the Damaged Box stock they've got in the back room. Just ask to see the list, they're happy to get rid of them as it's just taking up space for them!

That's been my experience as well. On my last visit to the Birmingham, AL (Riverchase Galleria Mall) two weeks ago, they had about 8 damaged exclusives in the back they offered me. If I recall, they had Pet Shop, Ferris Wheel, Tie Fighter, Sandcrawler, Palace Cinema, Helicarrier, all in the back due to "damage"

The nice thing about that visit was double VIP. My son and I picked up the damaged PS and PC for 800 VIP points (150 X 2 + 500 bonus) and picked up two Holiday train promos as a kicker. The damage to each box consisted of some minor creases. No scuffing, tears, or holes. I've seen worse wear on boxes at Target and TRU.

Keep this is mind for the double VIP event later in the month of you happen to be at a physical store.

Thought this was the time of year I was supposed to be selling, not buying, oops

3 x At-At   €73.33 each

1 x ISD  €104.99

2 x Santa's Workshop   €52.00

No way.  Over the past few years, October and November have been some of the best buying months of the year.  I think retailers have figured out that they can clear a lot of inventory out before x-mas at higher prices than the traditional deeply discounted clearance sales after x-mas.

Where, If I may ask?

The ISD and the Santa's Workshops were from mytoys.de, delivery to Ireland was a bit steep, but I had a €10 off code that someone put up on another thread yesterday which pretty much covered the delivery.

The At-At's were from Littlewoods.ie, who have a 3 for 2 offer and the At-At was already reduced
