What Lego set did you buy today?

Recommended Posts

I tried to remain between 2-3 copies of all but yes, 4 Mini Coopers and 6 Darth Vaders, not received a phone call yet. The City Square I bought in 2 orders of 3. I did see now that they added

to certain products.

Yeah, as far as I can see, they added that to every set. Even base plates and battle packs.

Yupp at Galeria. But if you buy from lego with the current offers and the Promos it is the same price or even better. I just dont like the hassle with the Promo selling...

Yeah... and with the train you need to wait for next year to sell. So I would go with Galeria for sure. If I was not such a sleepy head.

I got a SW, WInter toy shop and a SW Advent calendar, and the employee looked at my total and said, "do you want 2 trains or just 1? You're at $200 so you could have 2 if you want." oh yes I wanted 2.

And then said, "It was a trap! No one should need more than one train so you are a reseller. If I ban more than 5 of you a day, I get the employee of the week muffin".

Stupid thing is that my order/reservation from last saturday (before they had the restriction of 2 per set) of 6 Mini's and 4 T1 was confirmed. Today I've got an e-mail that my reservation has reached the pick-up point, but it looks like they changed the numbers to 2 per set. They have never informed me of this, wich is strange in my honest opinion.

The same happened with my other reservation of 4 10214 Tower Bridges, wich I've placed after they cancelled my other reservation of 6 Tower Bridges from my other account, without giving me the option to lower the numbers).

Ps. I often order more pieces of 1 set per order, of course to add more sets to my portfolio but also because it happened to me in the past that boxes arrived damaged at the pick-up point. For this reason I also order more so I can pick the good boxes / leave the heavily damaged ones.

I wonder why they started limiting the numbers......

That indeed is often my reaction when I arrive at a pick-up point and being confronted with a T1 set where the box looks to be driven over by a bunch of real T1's... :)

Ps. with ordering extra pieces I mean ordering 3 when I need 2 for example.. By all means, Collishop itself states in his policy that a reservation can be checked at the pick-up point. If the product doesn't meet your expectations you don't have to buy it. After 2 weeks a reservation that hasn't picked up will be cancelled without extra costs. I simply don't know what I'm doing wrong here...

I don't think ordering more than you actually want is a good idea. Of all the boxes I ordered from collishop, I only refused one... and it was not even that badly damaged. I guess I got lucky this time that I ordered before most.
