Neosphinx
I agree. Can only see one retiring soon set. I prefer buying at bottom prices rather than wait until sets 'retire'. Does not matter to me if I still need to hold them for 2 years. What is that CITY set Neosphinx?2 city sets. 60097 City Square and the High Speed Train
fossilrock
Did a minor run today, and hit 2 targets, 3 walmarts, and 1 TRU. Interestingly, the 2014 vader box sets are missing in action at all the walmarts in my region, but I found 3 AT-AT's, and 1 ISD scattered at 1 target. Only saw one cantina in all stores. I'm figuring these sets are nearing the end of their retail life, so now is the time to pounce on a few more if you can use coupons/discounts. The ep7, and 2015 sets were all there and present. I passed on the Vader Box sets at Target. Instead, I found a few at a TRU, and found a single ISD left on the shelf, where I used my points, and then price matched the 149.99 cost down to 104.99, and then applied 25 in rewards points to get one for 79.99 (pre-tax). It will be interesting to see if TRU will get more ISD's in, but I don't want to risk it at this point, and will continue to buy and apply points on these sets now. My goal is to have 7 of these when they retire. Right now i'm at 5. Also, on the shelf was one minty mint Walle. That was the first time I saw that, so, I bought it too. The 20% off coupon worked it's magic on that set and surprisingly it was at retail, and didn't have the typical markup. They wouldn't let me apply the 20% coupon on the ISD since I price matched. But, now is the time to price match at TRU, if they have those sets in stock. Over the last week, i've also acquired 2 more LToP's, and a PR. Deadfraggle
Scored 4 of the 44027 Breeze Flea Hero Factory sets @ 14.99 ea. from Mills Fleet Farm online to build 2 Bat-pods. Now I have to figure out something to do with the brand new HF sets that are missing the shield parts.

fossilrock
She wouldn't let me do it. It was the store manager, so she said I could either take the match, or the coupon, but not both. Since the match was greater, I went with that then applied the rewards points. I still got it for under 90 with tax, so I was ok with that. Most everyone has a qty of about (1) in the green or white. I'm not too familiar with the HF models, are there are any other HF parts one could substitute as the "feet" on the breeze flea machine so my kids can complete the build? I bought out a guy in Canada a couple weeks ago and received them today. I went with the Lime Green because they were cheap. I just did a quick search on BL, and you're right - no one seems to have any. Check Lego to see if they have any in stock. If not, maybe someone else has a sugggestion as to an alternative part to use?

BearCrash
I think I overreacted Was that in 1 Dreamland order? Did they allow you to order the same set more than 2-3 times? Last time I did that, I got a phone call from customer support that I wasn't allowed to buy that many sets because it obviously wasn't for personal use... That didn't stop me to ask a couple of friends to order in my stead though.

Cetona
Picked up a nice Technic lot off Craigslist, all complete with booklets. MK II crane for $100, Unimog for $140, motorized excavator (8043) for $180, Crawler for $80, and Logging truck for $60. Also got a Horizon Express with power functions and about 40 pieces of track for $110. Planning to flip the excavator and crawler and keep the others for my own collection.
