The guy know his market too - those ones love their Chima and Ninjago almost as much as David Hasselhoff records.

I am buying those sets to diversify my brickfolio. Most of my inventory is exclusive stuff… for almost 95% afols

Ninjago, Disney, Chima, Turtles, Friends are mostly for kids…here in central europe. Of course there are also some afols who are buying Chima and Ninjago but i guess

most of my customers buy them for their kids. I had some good results with Lone Ranger, Ninjago stuff. I bought them with a discount between 30 and 50%, just like the list

i wrote in my previous post. From the percentage view i got my best result with 5 Ninjago Spinner boxes i bought for 2 Euros each and sold for 15 Euros. 10 Euros invested, 75 Euros back, 65 Euros profit (no fees because i am selling almost everything on a similar site to Craigslist here in central europe.

Yeah and because the buy-in is low you have a good price point for selling when things are not available in shops in panic stations week before Christmas.

I just wish we had the same (or any) discounts here and I could start buying again.

How did u get them from 69.99€ to 53€

Just on eBay mate. Impulse bid, they were @ £18 before i bid, couldn't resist

Managed to snag a few of these on an ebay auction today - not quite as good a buy in as yours but close :). Thanks again for the tip.

Had been staying away from the auction formats and looking at "buy it now" only.  I need re-think my strategy.

Tacsniper,

Nice job. You seem to be the master at finding this set...I'm semi-jealous!

Thanks! Now I hope the gamble pays off over the next couple months.

Nice score!! Did you get those at MSRP?

2 winter toy shops, 2 more thanksgiving sets, plus done items to motorize my Wall-e resulting in two of the trains. 3 more Wall-E sets, another Ultra Agents Ocean HQ and 6 of the Breez Hero Factory sets ( for bat pod parts) resulting in 3 more Bricktober sets

UA Ocean HQ is running out around here.  There is only 1 TRU with it in stock and they are down to the last one with a damaged box so I'm passing for now.  Unfortunately there are over 800 of these still in stock on TRU.com.  That number has gone up since a week or two ago.

The last couple days I have been buying 2x Wall-E with Bricktober promo and coupons.  Today I got my first Brick Bounty during TRUTH with Bricktober and also scored multiples of Witch King Battle and Attack on Lake-Town for 50% off at Target.  Now they need to clearance the remaining Mirkwood Elf Armies.

Did yours show the 69,99 mark down properly when you bought it? It still showed the old price for me when I entered it into my cart but I took screenshots clearly showing the markdown and the price when you loaded it into the cart and will start approaching customer service about it now that I got a note that they send the parcel out .
