Zelgazra
And thanks to Ravenb's solid info, just picked up a damaged Pet Shop (creased edge) for 899 VIP points. Plus a Santas Workshop to dodge the 2 limit on SaH.
Brick_BreakDown
Didn't get a curiosity when it was available sadly but just picked one up for $40US with box and instructions. I wasn't really looking for the set but it seems significantly cheaper than sold ebay listings and could see myself wanting this in the future.

cladner
another 12 Santa's Workshop's in 12 separate single orders from target.com this morning. single orders prevent boxes from getting smashed like they always do on multiple orders and also getting to load up on boxes and bubbles. they've been in and out at least 3 times this morning.Up to 57. Going for 100. Not selling any this year unless we enter 2.5x MSRP territory.

oskietn
I stumbled across a local college student on Craigslist today. He had purchased Kylo Ren's Shuttle and the First Order Transporter. At the same time, his brother purchased the same sets as a gift for him. He had already opened the ones he bought, and the gift from his brother didn't contain a receipt so he couldn't return them. Obviously, he's a poor college student and looking for extra cash, so I got both for $80!

Why wouldn't he just return the two sets his brother got him using the receipt from the ones he purchased himself?

What gives you the confidence to buy 100 , or do you do that with lots of sets?
Ryan Junior
Are you betting on them not refreshing it in 2016, or 2017?As we have seen with the Christmas sets , they can rerelease them at any time.
Locutus001
Just bought some sets for myself, including Kylo Ren's Shuttle, Troop Transporter, Imperial Assault Carrier, Flash Speeder and Death Star Final Duel.Just finished the Flash Speeder (nice little build! awesome minifigs) and will now start with Death Star Final Duel! (Have been looking forward to this for quite some time now!)As for the other three sets I actually just bought them for the minifigs... I'll probably build at least the Troop Transporter and after reading so many good reviews about Kylo Ren's Shuttle I'll probably try that as well. The Assault Carrier really looks like nothing to me and I don't fancy to have it standing anywhere... so probably just good for the parts and the minifigs ^.^Kylo Ren's Shuttle will probably also be disessembled after some time as I still don't like the design (just can't compete to the Imperial Shuttle Tyderium or the UCS version). iahawks550
Four Raptor Escapes that were sitting on the shelf at Wal-Mart. Seal Code was 7-05.Still not sure these are gone for long, but why take the chance.
cladner
Are you betting on them not refreshing it in 2016, or 2017?yes - I am betting it is going to be a 2 year run and no refresh the year after it retires. If you are buying up 100 this year, how many did you sell last year? What gives you the confidence to buy 100 , or do you do that with lots of sets? I don't usually buy 100 of something. I bought 25 last year and sold 12.My confidence comes from my belief in Santa Claus and his power to propel the sales of his flagship set into the stratosphere even without the help of his flying reindeer. oskietn
college kids story sounds fishy to me. Why wouldn't he just return the two sets his brother got him using the receipt from the ones he purchased himself? I asked him that same question. He said didn't have the receipt from his original purchase, and Wal Mart won't give cash returns over $50, only gift cards. Both were for personal builds, so I went ahead and opened the boxes to look. All pieces are there, including minifigures.
