What Lego set did you buy today?

Simply list as New in Sealed Bags instead of New in Box.  NIB implies that the box is still sealed.  Like zskid00 said, you're opening up yourself to a SNAD case even if you show that the box is opened by listing NIB.  With sealed bags, you'll get 90+% of NIB simply because someone buying to build isn't going to care if the box is opened as long as they know it's complete and pieces are still new.

Yeah that was the plan. Although I'll prob hang onto it for a while and let the value "mature" a bit more............:money:

Agreed. I'd say most of the time you can do even better than 90%. Last week, I sold a NIB Helms Deep and then sold an open but sealed bags on for only $5 less than the NIB.

Tonight a picked up a used complete w/ boxes lot with 10225 - UCS R2-D2, 9493 - X-Wing, & 9492 - Tie Fighter for $380 shipped on EBay.  Looks like a real nice lot and well kept by a collector.  This way I won't be torn about opening my personal copies and I can offload them and cover most of the cost with profit.

Walmart had pretty much all the $29.97 regular priced Friends, Princess, and Elves on clearance for $9. They were not marked or in the clearance section, so check your area if you're interested.

41053 - Cinderella's Dream Carriage (x2)

41093 - Heartlake Hair Salon (x4)

41100 - Heartlake Private Jet

41036 - Jungle Bridge Rescue (x3)

41097 - Heartlake Hot Air Balloon (x2)
