minicoopers11
Picked up the following this week: 2 Steamrollers at 35 3 Steamrollers at 28 3 Milanos at 35 2 Attack on Lake-town at 20 2 Hulk Busters at retail With that small amount, I really feel like I am running out of places to put these at home. I am not sure how some of you do it when you are buying more than 10 of this, and 10 of that, and 30 more of those. You must live in a Malibu Mansion. I have a 2-car garage and only one car. My car barely fits in garage.

spener90
Bought the Hulk Buster for my son. Nice set but not worth $30 retail. Maybe $20 max. This set is a perfect example why set price is based the elements used (not the # count). Price is typically based on weight, plus, at least in this case, the licensed theme involved. jaisonline
yup. some elements and colors are more expensive to produce. i totally agree about weight (i referred to this as elements used) and license. license fee can be big. edgecrusher
Found a 70728 Battle for Ninjago City at Target on 30% clearance for $83.98. The Joker Steamrollers were still at $34.98, so I passed on those. Edited March 2, 2015 by edgecrusher

License fee is the growing problem. Getting more and more $$$$ for these big licenses especially with Disney involvedsets. Those are the sets seeing the bigger spikes. Ariel's Under Sea Palace was the first big one out of the new year. Almost 15 cents a piece. I know there is a lot of unique pieces but they will keep pushing it under these Disney sets. Hulk Buster is another great example. Its over the normal $20 set price range in elements but $25 probably should of been it, instead because of its content it is $30.
