waxwing
4 City mines from TRU, they are back available for shipping and you cannot beat the clearance price less 20%. Should be a strong performer. Thanks. I ordered a couple. After 5% off from Raise.com they worked out to under $65 each. Seems like a cool set, hoping to sell one to pay for the other in a year or so.
zskid00
I bought 3 more 76031 Hulk Buster sets at Meijer today. These are great for quick flipping since no other retailers are stocking them yet. They also had a bunch of new 2015 Ninjago and City sets. MartinP
Nice find! Don't know about you, but I've always found when I actively seek out yard sales or estate sales, I never find anything good. It's always the ones you randomly run into or go just because a friend or significant other is going. That always happens to me! Sometimes, the garage sales that I seek out have Lego, but it is extremely overpriced. I have had the best luck with Lego at estate sales. I have gotten over $2000 in older used Lego sets for around $150.

Alpinemaps
Over the last couple of days (since the Walmart success), I've picked up the following: eBay: Kai's Fire Mech 70500 - $6 Han Solo polybag - $7 Darkseid Invasion 76028 - $55 Craigslist: Star Wars T-16 Skyhopper 75081 Star Wars Rebels TIE Advanced Prototype 75082 Star Wars Rebels AT-DP 75083 Star Wars Rebels Ezra's Speeder Bike 75090 Jabba the Hutt, Max Rebo, and Princess Leia in Gold Bikini from the Sail Barge set - all four sets were used, but on display, only missing the fighter pilot (not the Inquisitor) from the TIE Advanced, all for $60 Imperial Star Destroyer 10030 - a ridiculously low price that I won't mention here. Much lower than value. I work for the Marine Corps, and bought it from a Marine (who never put it together) who had bought it from another Marine. We were both told "there are only 4 or 5 missing pieces). The tub is full and heavy. At the price I got it at, it's worth the risk to see if it's mostly there. The instruction manual is included. This is my new "project" and I will be spending many nights tearing it apart, inventorying it, and putting it together.
legodelorean
Over the last couple of days (since the Walmart success), I've picked up the following: Star Wars Rebels Ezra's Speeder Bike 75090 Nice!! I bought the Ezra speeder set for my oldest and it's a really cool build and looks really good when completed. Were the Rebels sets purchased for investment or for your personal collection? I really like the show but I am not sure about investing in the sets. I've always read that the OT sets are the best to invest in.

Were the Rebels sets purchased for investment or for your personal collection? I really like the show but I am not sure about investing in the sets. I've always read that the OT sets are the best to invest in. I'm a big fan of the show, and needed the Ezra set to complete the crew (since Sabine only comes in that set for now). I have a few Ghost/Phantom combos, but only had one Ezra Speeder Biker for my personal collection, until now. I won't open the one I've got sitting there - I'll add that to the Ghost/Phantom combos, and I'll have this used one for my personal collection. As for investment strategy - on this particular set, I'm looking to bundle Ghost/Phantom/Speeder Bike just to round out the crew. I think the series is a win, and I think the characters are fantastic. I don't do much SW Lego investing, but my gut says these sets will be a win. The Ghost itself is a great build, and coupled with the Phantom, is fantastic.

That is a really cool set as well. We just need the Ghost but that'll have to be for a special occasion. I don't have too many SW sets either but I'll start buying the Mos Eisley Cantina pretty shortly.

isocleas
Two more Mines from TRU Same. They've been popping in/out of ship to home the the last few days and I kept missing it. Figured two more at $64 a piece is worth it. I bought some during the 20% off clearance sale otherwise i'd probably get a few more.

Twiddlepotts
About a week ago I was at my local St. Vinnies looking for a new book or two. I always check the toy section and that day was no different. I grabbed a bag of LPS for the school and was just about to leave disappointed when a fresh cart of toys appeared. I squealed when I saw the employee throw a gallon ziplock of LEGO on the shelf. She giggled at me and said she had more in her cart. I ended up with five - gallon bags and a stack of 10" road base plates. The sad and funny part was when I went to pay for it the people at the counter were talking about a guy that was in the store earlier buying LEGO and asked if they had more. They told him no and then found these bags. I wonder what he got? I had a weekend project of sorting and detecting what sets I had. So far I have found and built a black monarchs castle #6085, Victory Lap Raceway #6395, Battering ram #6062, Sonar Transmitting Cruiser #6783 and I still have a huge pile of red and yellow pieces that look like more speed track sets by the mini figs. I paid $30.00 and have had way more fun than that. Lol. It floors me that I was able to build each set with only a few missing pieces. Ty for letting me fill your ears with old lady craziness. Lol it is so nice to have adults that understand. Lol
