What Lego set did you buy today?

Recommended Posts

Bought a haunted house last night.  My girlfriend/common-law, what ever you refer to that situation as, is sick today, so she is building it for us.

The politically correct thing to say is simply "My partner" ... it no longer means of-the-same-sex.

The HH is an awesome set. We built ours earlier in September and the kids love it.

Where? I would like to also hunt them. You are having great success at finding mixels! That's complete 6 sets plus 2 xtra set of red

Gathering dust at a Target. It's really rare around here, but someone mentioned that sets sometimes appear from the back during inventory time.

My sister had clued me off on some movie sets that were in sale. Sadly, those sets were back up to full price. But I'll take the trade off.

Just received the Death Star (10188) in the mail today from Amazon which was on sale a couple of days ago for $359.99. The price has now jumped to $469.99 for the same listing.

359 and free shipping?! That's pretty good!

I finally bought my first modular set today! Got pet shop over town hall

7 x 75038 Jedi interceptor & 2 x 10674 Pony Farm all $12.50 each. Looks like WM marked some replenishables down 50% and forgot to change the price back. Hopefully they don't notice. All of these sets I picked up on the previous trip and sold quickly.

Target had CCP on clearance for $14 along with the sets mentioned by other members.

This probably wins the random award for the day. Went to Brickcon in Seattle, didn't pick up anything big, only a couple of small used sets for my son. But hit up the Children's Museum gift shop near the event - about a year ago they randomly had a Technic 8051 Motorbike for $45, which I sold on eBay for $110. For some reason they had three more of these back on the shelf, and they were 20% off. Picked up all three for $40 each after tax.
