I went to another garage sale today, and I bought a gallon sized bag full of Lego pieces for $3. There were some SW minifigures, along with various pieces in other set. Most of the pieces will be used to complete my other incomplete sets.

One of these days, I'm going to figure out how you guys find all these low priced good deals on eBay.  I've got to admit, that's one area I just don't focus on, so I'm clueless.

You just gotta hover over eBay constantly lol, some of my best finds are a $90 ucs tie advanced fighter (10175) and a $225 imperial flagship (10210)

I foudn this old lego kitchen from the 70's at a garage sale today for a 1 dollar.  Have no idea if that's a good deal or not.  It has these weird really big "mini" figures.   Big round heads that plug into an element I've never seen before.  There are no numbers on the elements so after a quick search not sure which set it is.  But for a buck its kinda neat.

Fabuland?

I don't know if these are the right sets, but this is what I thought of when you described the set:

263-1: Kitchen Set

269-1: Kitchen

Both these sets were released in the late 1970's.

oh its totally the 269-1 set. I bet it's complete too. the baby figure is the size of the mini figures today. It's kind of neat. :)

That's a very cool find

I agree. Build the sandcrawler first to "show your appreciation." :)
