What Lego set did you buy today?

Recommended Posts

u guys really think chicken coop is retiring?  in stock throughout north america and europe.  not on promo bricks list which is at least up to now more accurate than brickwars list with respect to sets that are actually showing up as sold out including a few sets that aren't even listed on brickwars list as going.  i'll let you figure out which ones those are.  😛

Low risk buy at 50% or more even if it doesn't retire right away.

Chicken Coop is on Stonewars.

Today I bought 3 on Target and got the $10 GC, then I called and they price matched with Walmart at $15.99, so effectively ~$11 each(with 5% from Red Card).

A bit of a hassle to call, but got the job done.

i meant stonewars not brick wars lol.

stonwars doesn't even list expecto partronum which is sold out in europe.

no where in the world is chicken coop sold out.

all the other retiring minecraft sets (ex big figs) are sold out somewhere.

i have enough chicken coops from last years 50% off sale after xmas at walmart.  hope u guys going deep are right but lack of the set's appearance on promo bricks which is the more accurate list so far has me skeptical.

if only the knowledgable lurkers haunting the recently browsing field would let loose we could end the bs.

wrong place for this anyway so time to have a beer.

hehe

If I didn't already buy a Razor Crest as a preorder (yes, I'm a sucker), I would be buying it now.  Burn a few points off to get cost down, and enjoy that sweet keychain.

Yeah swung by UTC lego store... and they still had 4 GWP's sooo I caved to the emperor, cashed out some points and bought it

Did you build these or buy them ( or perhaps both :spiteful:)??!?

(sorry wrong thread, thought it said "bought today" not "build today")

Only one available of each, and yes, grabbed them both. Note: this location is only open Friday thru Monday. Said to call first if looking for hard to find items. Said they do not have knowledge of what is on each shipment so unaware of when Frigate or others will be back.

Sounds like a great day. Will the Monster Book ever make it mainstream? Lego.com, others?

Big Lots was having a 50% toys sale last week. Well being in New Orleans we missed out on the sale due to the big hurricane and didnt have power most of the week. Lucky for me a few of the stores gave it to me anyways and I was able to pick these up. ......

I picked up the first 5 Monster Books on Monday 10 AM, and left one on the shelf for you!  You're welcome 😂  TaskMaster was limit 2.  And no Frigates, like you said.

Just beat me. Took an early lunch and got there at 11am. I forget that the Discovery Center has a whole different system than the Lego Store. I need to check there more often. If you plan on keeping one for yourself, you'll like the Monster Book build.

Timmy upon seeing you hauling the displays out. “Man, 2020 is awful. They even cancelled Christmas. He’s taking the toys and displays, too!”
