Seems like there's a decent deal now at close to 40% off MSRP at Target, if you PM Walmart and include the $10 GC. Do folks think this is as good a deal as we're going to get? Interested in purchasing 2 for personal build but not sure if it may be one to hit 50%+ discount later. Is this set retiring soon? I feel like I've seen comments on this before but couldn't quickly find them so apologies for the redundancy well, ask yourself, how did the other hanna barbera themed LEGO set perform? the answer is scooby doo is kicking a$$. \ meantime:

gmpirate
At a $50 buy-in I think Flinstones is a winner and is in most people's portfolio. Are there better winners/buys? sure. Are there worse? sure
marcandre
Not a great comparison. Scooby had a whole line of sets while Flint is a one off. The quality on the Scoob sets was great, the Flint set is just so-so. (Leaving out Dino is ridiculous) I'm guessing Flint gets stuck around 80-90 for a while.

MrSam
Flintstones has been one of the only Ideas sets to get a regular big discount here in NZ. Not a great seller, it seems...
Bricklectic
Yep, this years retiring ideas is a weak crop. flintstones isnt so popular, willie is great but super expensinve and rarely on sale, and treehouse while great is risky due to possible remake. only makes sense to go deep on these if nicely discounted imo (as i write this i buy 20 at amazon for 48 after coupon ) Edited November 5, 2020 by Bricklectic

nolan808
Lego harry potter 75945 back in stock at lego.com after being sold out for quite some time. I have to say I have a bad feeling about the potter sets. Promobricks had a few of these sets out of production but feels like they are being continued. I wonder if any will retire this year, someone did come out and say they were all being extended and I wonder if there is some truth in it. I've also noticed quite a few sets coming back from being sold out, I guess sold out doesn't mean too much though. I'm hoping steamboat comes back, I have a feeling it will. iahawks550
Asking two kids born after 2005 about something popular in the 70's to early 80's isn't exactly a target demographic to discern popularity. Of course it's not popular with the current generation, but that's not the market.

Just for the record I’m a fan I have the first two seasons and my daughter loved them when she was younger. But then she grew out of it fairly quickly. agree with the comments but I am still a fan... I'd be happy with 100 on it in a year.
Fcbarcelona101
Just coming from a LEGO store and noticed a few sets marked as “Last Chance to Buy”. Nothing that hasn’t been talked about here already, but found it interesting. Some were: Death Star, Beetle, Camper Van (right...), Chinese New Year sets and a few others. nolan808
The Treehouse EOL date has been extended to the end of next year. Glad I didn't pick any of this one up, will the diner follow suit lol. Also is is possible for it to be on black Friday 30 percent off. I do hope so as I would like one to build.
