fuzzy_bricks Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Might have missed it but attack of the wargs is retired I'm wondering why Walmart didn't clearance these or GK. Quote
MartinP Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I don't know if anyone saw this, but LEGO Shop at Home says that the Fire Brigade is now retired. The set finally retired! Quote

Cetona Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I'm surprised the Rockefeller Center was retired and the Guggenheim wasn't. Quote
spener90 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I don't know if anyone saw this, but LEGO Shop at Home says that the Fire Brigade is now retired. The set finally retired! This is the best news I've had for Lego in a while. Who knew my fortune cookie the other day was going to come true? Quote
CNH1974 Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I don't know if anyone saw this, but LEGO Shop at Home says that the Fire Brigade is now retired. The set finally retired! Now are we "sure"?? Other wise prices on eBay UK of up to 80% above retail are a waste of time..... :) Quote
MartinP Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Now are we "sure"?? Other wise prices on eBay UK of up to 80% above retail are a waste of time..... That is the same question we are going to ask when the Death Star retires. Quote
toy brick salvage Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 What's the story on 21104, 1st LEGO LEGO Shop at Home has it at "Temp Out Of Stock, more in March", now it states "SOLD OUT" yet UK has some. Quote
Migration Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 And Arch Studio survived this round... Quote

MartinP Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 There saving the ball on a and confetti for tomorrow when the death star retires. This was all a precursor Silly They're saving that for the Death Star. IF the Death Star retires. Maybe the Death Star will be around for another five years. Who knows. Quote
spener90 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 And Arch Studio survived this round... I've said it before, they won't be retiring it. If they were, I think they would have retired it today with the whole batch of sets too. Quote
Migration Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I think it's gonna return as well, I was simply pointing out its survival. Quote
Doofy McGee Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Does anyone recall how often they retire sets? Today was obviously done in a large batch, but does history show that it will be many more months before we see another one? Or could it happen again next week, for example? Or tomorrow? Quote
Miami Bomb Squad Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Hope u guys r correct on the AS. I totally missed that one. So happy about the VC, FH, FB. Waiting for the VW, GE, and the TB. Quote
Doofy McGee Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 ...and I wonder if they will just keep making the Live Star indefinitely since there are more Star Wars movies coming out. Even though they are all new movies, the Death Star is a pretty iconic piece of Star Wars lore, and the interest for it will likely be renewed with the arrival of the new movies. Quote
Doofy McGee Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Hope u guys r correct on the AS. I totally missed that one. Yep. Still just says "Sold Out." Doesn't mean anything though. Look at the Two-Face Chase or Gandalf Arrives. Those have been gone forever, and they didn't get "retired" today. We all know they are retired though. Quote
Miami Bomb Squad Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 The DS will retired, everything retires. I predict this beast will just fall off to the retired page, no warnings of any kind. Poof. Quote
Doofy McGee Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I am super excited about today's retirements! There are 14 sets on that list that I have in mid to high quantities. And this is on the same day that I bought 5 Lone Ranger Trains, 11 Doc Ock Ambushes, and 8 Attack of the Wargs. When I bought this stuff, I didn't even know it was retired! I am not bragging here. I am just very enthusiastic! YAY!!! 2 Quote
bmw328i2008 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Just saw on Legos website that the funhouse now says retired. I was lucky to grab 3 of these at tru for 19.99 .
