The movie would make me nervous about owning any Batman sets. The new Arkham Asylum has already killed 10937. It makes me glad for the $250 each I got selling mine last year. Remakes are brutal. I guess 'everything is awesome' died when the Lego Movie left the theatre.

I think Emmet mentioned that at one point in the movie.

Guest TabbyBoy
The Sea Cow has dropped in value and I'm lucky I had 2 free! Thank diety that I didn't buy a lot! Too big to store for pennies in profit!

Did not know if you were joking or for real but quick online search : "Next, we’ve got the new LEGO Arkham Asylum set, which contains 1,628 pieces for $149.99. This set is expected to be a Toys R Us exclusive on-shelf January 1st, 2016." Where is that panic button!

Ciglione
I dunno if I must cry or laugh. But seeing where this has come to. People being content with the performance of a set described above by Val-E. People grab the last branch to keep up the charade. The sky seems to be falling for real. I bought enough the other week to pair with every 21006 White House I have. A WH sold for £81.46 posted in the UK today which would've been an easy £40 profit after fees and P&P. Did you all notice how quiet I was about the WH until I filled my boots before before Retirement was due? I don't believe you had any inclination of wanting these until others smelled retirement here. Give credit where credit is due.

The new AA is the cartoon version. Most DC fans will want 10937. It will also help that Amazon won't be selling the new AA

Plenty of exclusives have fallen lately even without seeing a remake. The current lowest price on eBay for a MISB 10937 is $228 shipped. Amazon buyers must be, how to put this politely, "different". A big pat on the back for me! ;-) I bought my first big stash before it was tagged.

grackleflint
I don't believe you had any inclination of wanting these until others smelled retirement here. Give credit where credit is due. For people that have been following Architecture, 21006 WH being a winner is no surprise. At least here in the US, it has consistently sold out at Christmastime at Amazon for at least the past couple of years and I distinctly remember a couple of BPers saying at least a year ago that they would load up if they suspected it was being retired. You can look at the past sales ranks on Amazon to see that it's high for an Architecture set. I'm hoping people have spent all their money on the recent TRU, Amazon and Target sales buying all the same Star Wars sets and leave the WH alone 8-)
