back on topic.  IST (75094) and Vader's Tie vs A-wing (75150) have both moved to sold out on US LEGO Shop at Home.  for what ever that means.  there are also a lot of sets still lingering in call to check land.

I am pushing all in on 75150 ...

Think long and hard before pulling the trigger willy-nilly on the latest Star Wars sets unless the discounts are massive! So many QFLLs have bought huge amounts dirt cheap and it'll be difficult to compete for a long time. This Xmas is already swamped so it doesn't make sense for me to offload my 75% off  MFs yet. There were £30 instore at several Tescos and I just arm-swept branch after branch.

75150 has been that way since Sunday.

75094 should have retired 6 months ago after walmarts 50% clearance.

given the retiring soon tags all over the european LEGO Shop at Home sites, the only question remaining to ax is will any sets that aren't labeled as retiring like Carbon freezing chamber get the chop.

pretty much impossible for  75150 to be massively hoarded with only a 6 month life.  Ant-man had a 5 month life which contributed to its post EOL performance.

I think it's retired pretty much everywhere but TRU and Target.  My TRU only had one left, last I checked.

TRU online includes 75150 as a BOGO 40% off ($69.99 > $41.99).

Edit: Keep in mind that while Sold Out in North America (LEGO Shop at Home), it's still available elsewhere (but marked as Retiring Soon).

Well, I was referring to 75094 in that response.

Nah it's not. Came out in 2013 and is now officially the oldest modular still available. Given that they retire as many modulars as they introduce, PC should be going in 2017. Would also play perfectly by the 4 year rule.

Well that's exactly what I said. PC would retire next after PS by the end of the 2017

I'm not even going to entertain the PC (I have none) unless the PS shows encouraging signs. The good old days since the FB and GE retired are long gone as we get a lot of discounts now whereas there were hardly any before. As for DO, BB, PR, etc. I'm not even looking at them!

PR is the best looking of all the recent ones.  I wouldn't write it off just yet, though I agree that if PS completely bombs that would change my calculations.  DO is seriously out of place stylistically with the other modulars, so I'm least excited about that one.  My modular neighborhood is zoned such that DO would simply not be allowed, even without the "cookie" smuggling...

RE: Other Star Wars (unannounced) retirements -- The one I'm most curious about is the First Order TIE Fighter.  It should be "due", but is not out of stock or marked as retiring soon.  If it does go, it could do nicely being a TIE Fighter that is reasonably close to the OT version of the ship.  On the other hand, I've had trouble finding it at a significant discount.
