3 sold today on Ebay.de at about 88 Euro incl. shipping... Whatever this means, still not clear to me.

That´s 3 more than Pet Shop! Clear best seller.

Surprising, I'd expect WALL-E to be in that position not that POS ;-)

does this means it's no longer likely I'll ever receive them?

Well you'll never know - I ordered around the same time, mine got shipped after a few days (seal code in the 20ies). So they might actually fine some more in their warehouse. Or they get cancellations and returns.

SOH C2C at EU shop. The fat lady will sing anytime now.

I expect 1000 Euro for that in 2 years at this time... Anything else would be really disappointing.

If you sell them in packs of 3, maybe.

I think £249.99 in 3 years time... if you're lucky!

I also predict tears and sub-RRP offloading within a year.

I disagree...

Packs of 6 then?

I dsagree with your disagreement. On what planet is a set that has been out for 3 years, marked as retiring soon  and heavily discounted going to have the level of scarcity to take it to 3.5 times RRP in 2 years and in the current market? You´d need 5000  Mars Rovers to find someone going to pay that.

If this wil be really the case then we can forget LEGO investing...

I expect 1000 but would be also happy with 600 in two years...

Seriously, I reckon £400 at the most in 2yrs and then it'll plateau. Remember, the "Taj Mahal" days are long gone!

I know... let's get one of the admins to set up a game for us to predict it's highest SOLD price on eBay on 27NOV17. I'll say £329.99 plus P&P.

This is why I sold all my Tower Bridges (old 2012 boxes) at break-even as I can buy again later on at a bigger discount when there's a hint of EOL.

TB is reduced tomorrow at SAH. Is that a big enough hint?

And do you think Tabby that TBs could be going next year ? Or with a mass retirement that could be a different story hmm

I don't think so as it's a huge seller and I'm not taking the bait just yet. I can always jump on John Lewis if/when the time comes as they ofter price-match LEGO Shop at Home asap. It has to be Sold Out before I buy any more but, I just have to act quickly. I hate stockpiling big boxes!

I'd take a stab at 2020, same year as the T1 ;-)
