Following rampant success of retiring soon tag on Doctor Who, TLG have now decided that everything is retiring soon just to troll resellers and Tabby especially.

The trolling department is having a field day.

someone's bonus is on the line.  if russians are hacking hillary, TLG's gotta be "hacking" into the brickpicker antics by monitoring the forum.

This is TLGs IT Team we're talking about here.

I'm assuming Lego LEGO Shop at Home UK will be updated to reflect the Austria changes?  I want another SC.

It already has been.  All reflected on UK site now.

How much were they selling them for?

20% off both again. Very short lived though.

I could say the same about The Big Bang Theory and I don't know of a single person here who watches it ;-) I honestly can't tell what that show is about or even name anybody in it without asking Google. I can't commend or slate the show as I've never seen it.

It seems like I'm going against the grain here with what I've ordered and, judging by history, this can only be a good thing.

Google (pics) Kaley Christine Cuoco and we will talk later.....8)

Ordered another SC,EV and SOH. At least there's double VIP and a bus thrown in. Assume that last production runs have now been done. Let's just hope it isn't the mother of all production runs and this is still on the shelves for months

Sadly all of the listed "retiring soon" sets have already been massively hoarded. Still hoping for a surprise retirement or the class of 2016 is going to be the worst performing year yet for exclusives. My advice buy at steep discounts on these or you could be waiting a few years just to break even after fees and shipping. Loads of resellers have had many years at 30-40% off on all of those listed so far so don't go paying RRP at the end and expect to do much more than break even over the short and medium terms (those days are gone forever except for the true surprises).

In France we have tags on all of these, too.
10218 - Pet Shop
10234 - Sydney Opera House
10236 - Ewok Village
75059 - Sandcrawler

21108 - Ecto-1
21302 - Big Bang Theory
21303 - WALL-E
21304 - Dr. Who

I disagree for the most part on the doom & gloom. I think if you were to pay RRP on EV or SC you would still make 30% over the next year in most of Europe. As for the others? Well... I think WALL-E, the good Dr. Who and probably SOH would offer solid returns. I haven't seen these on sale too often around here except for Germany.

I think I missed the boat on 30-40% off Pet Shop, SOH, Ewok Village and Sandcrawler.
