I'm not really sure when IR's status changed, but it happened the last few days. It stats "sold out" now (Shop.Lego.de).

Hope it's finally SOLD OUT on Lego LEGO Shop at Home Austria! The last few times it said "temporary out of stock - more on the way" but NOW it seems finally to be done?!
I ordered 4 and thought about returning 2. I'm not sure if IR (75919) is popular in Europe.
There are so many Chinese counterfeit dinosaurs for less then a few cents...
Any thoughts from experienced European resellers?

In the new Lego press release of the assembly square, they state: " Collect and build an entire town with the LEGO Creator Expert Modular Building series 10243 Parisian Restaurant, 10246 Detective’s Office and 10251 Brick Bank ". I think the cinema and the pet shop are retired! :D

It's a good indication and it would be nice if they did bite the dust, let the panic buying begin...

$279.99 USD is latest number

Cool.. Thanks, that's not a heinous price for that set.

To keep on topic, I do agree that the Pet Shop is done, and I wouldn't be shocked to see Palace Cinema go into retirement too.  I guess, this might put to rest the hospital rumor.

Me too! I have only one as well.

But I cannot ignore the fact that in my part of Europe PR is only obtainable from SaH. Like PS.

I'm in the same boat. In Austria all modulars are only obtainable at LEGO Shop at Home Austria.
Luckily I bought on friday my 4th Parisian Restaurant. :) Don't want to panic buy for retail or above MSRP.

As a recap, PS is coming up for 68 months (record for modulars), PC 48 and PR 36 at the end of this year. TH retired at 38.

I've none of these sets whatsoever but was planning to buy to build after I gather the last few SW sets I'm after.  What sort of time frame are we talking before these leave the shelves?

If we knew that, we wouldn´t be worried about missing out on one! PS should have been gone by now and PC is a retirement candidate as well. Too soon for the others, unless.....

Cheers

I guess I'll order the PS and PC today, anyone want a London Bus or two!

Doesn´t matter if you sell them now or later, buying 2 of the most hoarded sets at full RRP is not going to bring better results. Let´s say PS retires tomorrow, it´s maybe going up to 200 euros on ebay but not more as there is more than enough supply and people like me who bought in at 20% off or more are waiting to ditch it. Deduct fees, taxes and shipping and what is left - 160, 170 at best? The bus sells for 20 plus shipping and costs nothing so you already have a higher clean profit. Wait a year or 2 till there are less buses around and you could get 30. Still more than PS or pC will give you...

Sorry, I'm not buying the modulars to sell - I was talking about the buses.  Will probably just try and sell for £20 each.

May I ask where did you get the 20% discount on PS @Val-E?
