fuzzy_bricks Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Not everyone has had same education... This isn't some higher level English class that only a few people have access to. Quote
brickelements Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Oh yeah, my Dad can beat up your Dad. I know Lego is meant for Kids but seriously what does this banter have to do with a set retiring? 1 Quote

exciter1 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I normally don't correct grammar in forums like that, but I chuckled to myself that the wrong spelling was used when calling someone out as dumb. Just some friendly banter. I keep waiting for the Pre-Vizla set to be marked down to $12.98 on S@H. 1 Quote
No More Monkeys Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 I keep waiting for the Pre-Vizla set to be marked down to $12.98 on LEGO Shop at Home. That might be one of the "wee hours of awesomeness" deals on SAH 15 minutes before midnight just before May 4th. And it would be funny if they put Umbaran MHC on same sale as well :-) Quote

binici Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 voice text is so dumb. But it prevents me from crashing my car. Couldn't resist, autocorrect didn't catch that one. Wait, isn't using a phone while operating a vehicle against the law? Quote
dbost01 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 hands free is not against the law in many places Quote
hxckid88 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 It's all in fun. I appreciate friendly banter amongst regular posters. Its better then daily question of insert 1 of three sets retiring *** speculation that gets asked daily. I got 20 bucks that says one question that was asked to day will be asked tomorrow which will then prompt 20 responses from people who are nicer than me. Just a speculation. It may or may not come true. Let's debate it. Being dumb has nothing to do with intelligence. I failed algebra like three times in high school and my spelling *** is garbage. Yet I was on dean's list in college and would put my business smarts and street smart against anyone. People have 4.0 gpas all the time and are dumber then a box of rocks. Yes, many things are against the law. I break many laws too. Many are silly. I cut my grass on Sunday and have been known to carry ice cream in my back pocket while in Kentucky. Quote
dbost01 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 You are basically saying there are different types of intelligence. Ok. Quote
hxckid88 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 No. I'm saying I should be in jail for carrying ice cream in my back pocket. Pay attention. It's against the law. Quote
dbost01 Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 Brickshow is saying the SSD is retiring. Not sure what info gives them the confidence to say it but they are. Quote

inversion Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Brickshow is saying the SSD is retiring. Not sure what info gives them the confidence to say it but they are. Jupiter crosses Saturn and a red sun has risen. Also they cut up a chicken and its bowels aligned to form the word: SSD. Quote
agp548 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Well since brickshow said it and they heard it from a lego store employee it must true true true. Lol 2 of the most unreliable sources. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 FYI guys, from inside Lego itself: 2-9 key chains May possibly be retiring in the next few days to years. I am 100% sure this is possibly 75% true. BUY BUY BUY. 1 Quote
tractorboy Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Brickshow is saying the SSD is retiring. Not sure what info gives them the confidence to say it but they are. They probably read it on here. 1 Quote
@rtisan Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Plenty to be had at my local LEGO store. Was eyeing them up today for double VIP but with limited funds I went with a Sopwith and T1 Camper instead. Good choice with those! Great sets that will do well. Will be interesting to see how WVM performs in comparison. Quote
dbost01 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Just imagine how dumb it would be of LEGO Corp to let low levels employees know when a set is going to retire. There is no way Lego is giving any important retirement info to a B&M employee. Quote
rcdb1984 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 sometimes I like keychains lol!!!! the TMNT ones are cool, (from 1st round) same w/ monster fighters vampire and ghost Quote
