justgod Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 TH is going before the GE & PS? Novel idea. Was this a new employee, or did you visit the store 9 days ago She has been there for a long time (years). It is not on their order sheet, but this means absolutely nothing. I overheard her tell someone that was buying the PS the same thing. My goal for the rest of the year if to buy one GE & TH every month. I figure I am going to buy them all at some point, so might as well start now. Quote
BrickLegacy Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 I ordered a SSD on 4/4 when it was listed as out of stock but shipping on 4/20. It is still listed as backordered so I guess we'll see if it gets fulfilled over the next two weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote
TheViralSmile Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Just ordered 2 TH ... might as well just to be safe!! Quote
hxckid88 Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I'll state a fact myself. And a few of the super big shots so to speak on here have zero town halls. If thst goes away soon many will be caught off guard. Quote
knarrff Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Why are people so surprised to see exclusives like the modulars go our of stock during an 2xVIP event, while at the same time they advocate that this is what you should buy in these times? Quote

Guest brickcrazyhouse Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Time to revive the "what I heard from a lego employee thread" Side note: we should revive that thread every once in a while to see how much is true. Maybe even take some wagers on this stuff. Would be fun x I'll state a fact myself. And a few of the super big shots so to speak on here have zero town halls. DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Yeah there is just no way the Town Hall is gone. Honestly I don't know why Lego would retire another modular for the rest of the year. They got rid of one. They will retire another one at the end of next year probably. Quote
Guest Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Grand Emporium News Out of stock, will ship in 30 days ! Quote
jaisonline Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Did you search "retired product"? I got a bunch of new items included when I searched that. Good advice. If people look closely, even some "sold out" products appear there ;) Quote

iahawks550 Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I had no idea 9468 Vampyre Castle was retired. I need to pay attention. Quote
fuzzy_bricks Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I had no idea 9468 Vampyre Castle was retired. I need to pay attention. Yeah but TRU seemingly has a never ending supply of them so it really doesn't matter at this point. Quote
jaisonline Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I can't wait to see Sopwith Camel or the VW Van using that search If anything, maybe by Jan 2015 for one of them. Sent from an iPhone using the Brickpicker app Quote
fuzzy_bricks Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 So I just searched "retired product" and noticed a couple items that were foregone conclusions finally made their exit. This could have happened way earlier, I'm just now seeing it, but it looks like the Robie House is official along with the Unimog, might be a few more Technic sets too. Quote
Brickbuilder.g Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I'm search that and just seeing the regular stuff along with a few city sets like the terminal. Are there some big surprises I'm missing? Quote

legone Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I wouldn't trust the search result. Even sets marked as "NEW" rank near top of the list. Such as this: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Lavertus-Outland-Base-70134 Quote

Such as this: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Lavertus-Outland-Base-70134 I just skip through those pages that have available sets. The further you go into the list, the more retired sets you will find.
