these are sets lego has but are out of stock at other stores

Looks like the stock tracker is pointing at some outdated links. I show all of those sets instock at the usual retailers (amazon, walmart, target etc).

It disappeared from the LEGO Shop at Home EU stores as soon as it sold out and hasn't returned again till now.

Now the big question is: will this minifigs set return when the Disney castle becomes officially available, or will it remain retired...

The photo shows out of stock. That is very different than retired. Last Lego store I went to said they will for sure get more in they just did not know when. They have been wrong before though.

in the LEGO Shop at Home EU if you search for 71012 there isn't any result, as if the item didn't exist

Don't worry, think about the near future, Lego can't release a Disney Castle next month and not have the minifigs...

I think the castle will have its own series with the missing characters. The current one is not a good match for the set.

Buzz Lightyear deserves a castle.

Saw somewhere that someone said they had talked with someone from Lego on the phone and that when the Disney figs went out of stock they decided to release series 16 early while they manufacture more Disney figs to be made available, again, when the castle goes on sale... Either way, I seriously doubt this is the last we see of the Disney figs. I bet they'll be around for quite some time.

My father's brothers nephew's cousin's former roommate told me the Disney figs are retired!! ;o)

 

 My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who talked to the LEGO rep last night. Disney minifigures aren't coming back. I guess it's pretty serious.
