Best buy

Whelp.  I finally summoned the courage to open some mangled best buy sets and the bags are sealed and all there.  So that's nice.

I ordered 3 31120's medieval castle a while back.  They arrived looking like the typical Best Buy ordered.  Seals busted, taped to hell, labels everywhere, rips in the box face.  So I returned them.  I must have hit the wrong button because I only got a refund for 1 set, and then all 3 of them came back to me.  So now I have 3 sets for the price of 2 at least.  Customer service was no help so I figured I'm stuck with them and put them in a box to deal with later.

Long story short.  Do not order from best buy.  They are completely useless.  My son is getting one of these, my daughter another, and I'll probably hold onto the nicest box for 20 years till it's worth something.

Oh I've been in the club for a while.  Just too stupid to learn my lesson.  I've got a load of smashed dimensions sets I'll probably be buried with.

Walmart just sent me plastic bags.  I think it was from the local store so they weren't smashed, but still.  USE A BOX!!!

Even if it's not for resellers.  Who wants to give their kid a smashed up gift?  An expensive smashed up gift.

"All" my Walmart + deliveries that come from stores (basically all unless getting 30 or 40) are in plastic and has not been an issue.  It's not like they are being shipped by a carrier that is kicked around at several different intervals.

One of mine was a little dinged up but nothing I'd feel bad shipping.  So yeh, I guess local bag shipping is fair practice.
