mauro23 Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 In Europe already at 130 Euro - about $140... Quote
nolanfan34 Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Sell or hold if you still have one? This has turned out to be an interesting one for testing the collect-ability factor. Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 I have not looked at the price for a while. It is actually leveling off on eBay.. How high can a $30 set get???? Quote
nolanfan34 Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 Just now, Darth_Raichu said: I have not looked at the price for a while. It is actually leveling off on eBay.. How high can a $30 set get???? Yeah that is why I find it interesting. At some point it passes into pure rare collectible. Amazon price keeps creeping up, although I don't know how many people really buy this set on there. Quote
mauro23 Posted July 4, 2017 Posted July 4, 2017 (edited) With the new Saturn V Ideas Set this one is gold. The price in Europe for MR has immediately rised after Saturn V release. (Both sets are unique ones that are NASA branded) I have only 10 left (from my former 100) and I won't sell them under 200 Euro... Edited July 4, 2017 by mauro23 2 Quote
Voltron Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 Wonder if lego will do another Mars rover set based on the recent news of the 2020 Perseverance mars rover, as space seem to be a in demand theme for lego. Quote
Gonkalin Posted February 19, 2021 Posted February 19, 2021 I was shocked today to learn the new Perseverance Rover is the size of a small car. I had no idea it was so large. Quote
scythanith Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 I have to think the lunar lander, the ISS, the Saturn V, the curiosity rover have all sold well. The women of space sets is awesome! I'd definitely buy more of the space theme sets. I only have 2 of the Curiosity sets. Quote
Popular Post jaisonline Posted April 16, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 16, 2021 Finally picked up a Lego 21104 Cuusoo Curiosity Rover. Opened it up and getting ready to build it. Waited far too long to buy one. Finding a new one under $300 is HARD. This one is part of the 48S3 batch (48th week of 2013). 13 Quote

I just picked up a 9392 from EBay for $26 shipped to get the 2 expensive parts ($11 each on BL with only 3 US sellers). Rest of the parts should be easy. Granted, no box, no manual and no "I have the original set" feeling. Can't put a value on those. 1 Quote
marcandre Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 When I was still pretty noobish I have 50 of these in my TRU cart. Wussed out & only got 10. I never would have kept them this long but still 😭 1 Quote

Popular Post Darth_Raichu Posted May 13, 2022 Popular Post Posted May 13, 2022 Most likely my last post on this thread. I sold my last 21104 for $800 FBM back in November 2021. This was by far the best investment I ever made. I would go as far as putting 21104 as the PERFECT set for investment. Everything about & around this set just worked beautifully to support it's aftermarket value. This was also 1 of a few sets that I endorsed for investment back in the day (the other ones cratered in value, which stopped me from blabbering my mouth ) Obviously I still have a lot to learn since I only sold 1 copy for $800. This was supposed to be my personal copy and/or an experiment to see how long it would take to 20x (my avg cost was $38). Over the years, the majority of my stash were sold at $400 price range. So 7 years to reach 20x, not bad Here is to the best set I ever own. I highly doubt there will be another one as good as 21104 10 Quote
Pseudoty Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 The Technic remake looks pretty good. Better sell them if you got'em 🤣 Quote
