Pseudoty Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I don't think that is him. I thought he was in Florida and that seller is in California. But it is still $99.99 with the $10 economy shipping added in. Quote

Well, whoever that Californian is, s/he is keeping the price firmly at $99.99 (or even less depending on his/her mood) Quote
BearCrash Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I had the same impression. I sold two at 110 euro euro each. Getting more is very difficult to impossible. That's a good deal, especially since you can get them on BL for Quote
Neosphinx Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 To say I doubted to buy 2 of them at 50 Quote
mauro23 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 because of US market only up to 150 Euro... Why? Because if the price would be higher people from EU could buy it in USA at 100 Euro and pay about 50 Euro duties and shipping costs and this would be still lower than the 150 Euro price for this set... Quote
Jules_K Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Prices here in Australia have flatlined at about US$75, only a couple sell a month on Ebay which is a lot less than last year. I might look at selling my remaining stock in the US if prices continue to climb there. Edited February 23, 2015 by jkaesler Quote
Pseudoty Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Wow no posts in this thread for almost 6 months must say something about the demand or lack there of for this set. Watched Lego a Brickumentary tonight and the rover gets some good exposure get ready for the mad rush ;) Quote
supergman Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I'd love to get one, but I'm not paying 3x for it. Quote

Watched Lego a Brickumentary tonight and the rover gets some good exposure get ready for the mad rush I am just patiently watching the sub-$100 supplies dwindle. This thing was sold out about 1.5 year ago and officially retired 6 months ago I'd love to get one, but I'm not paying 3x for it. Suit youself. Next up is 4x MSRP 1 Quote
exciter1 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I've been watching this daily. I still have a few to unload. Quote

There is still a lot of life in this rover, a lot of news to be written and heard about. This story ain't over. Quote
tractorboy Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Funnily enough I finally sold 2 (one returned thanks to wrong address) in the past couple of weeks for €95 plus ship. and I notice my listing has a few watchers which it rarely had before. It had stalled at around €90-100 in EU for months. It could use a little lift to help get it past €100 which I think a lot of customers have a hard time paying for a €30 set. I'm not expecting it to jump to €150 any time soon. Maybe in a year from now. Quote

It will rise, but very slowly. Quote
@rtisan Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yeah demand really isn`t what one might like for this set. It`s easy to Bricklink as well, which is also kind of a let down to be honest. But that said, x3 MSRP give or take is nothing to cry about, that`s huge for any set, a very impressive feat. Quote
jbacunn Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 (edited) Funny that this should come up today. I sold 3 yesterday on Amazon out of nowhere @ $120 plus shipping. Two to one buyer!. I had these listed on Amazon for over a month and I was the lowest or second lowest price by a few cents and no movement and then 3 in one day. No clue. Maybe it has something to do with that news story. I have 2 left and I'm going to hold out for $150. Edited August 2, 2015 by jbacunn Quote
mauro23 Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I have sold 3 in the last three months at 114.99 and 119.99 Euro.It seems that the magical 100 Euro border (in Europe similar to the $100 in US) has been broken...MauroP.S. Would be nice as I still have dozens of them... Quote

I was being kind of facetious as most people that would watch a lego documentary should also already know about the Rover, but if they don't the movie would increase the desire to buy one. If my theory is correct the 9493 sales have another reason to increase as it got the most screen time by far. Quote
Contrails Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I recently swapped 2 of my RI for a Rover with a friend of mine. Glad a I did it. Its getting harder to find them Quote
mauro23 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 This should help in increasing the value for this set dramatically: Quote
Pseudoty Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Just sold 2 more same buyer on eBay GSP at $115 each so I would say it has broken the $100 barrier. That makes 6 sold above $100 in the week since the movie has come out. 1 Quote

tractorboy Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I sold another today. That's 4 in the past couple of weeks when I couldn't sell one for months. €97 plus shipping. 2 Quote

mauro23 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 97 Euro are not $115...it seems that most of them are sold in US and not in Europe... Quote
