I have a good buddy in our Lousiana Lego group that really likes many of the " Alternative " brand modular sets. He gives me the instructions for the ones I like and I just make them out of Lego.

People over on funwholepicker are not gonna be happy for stealing funwhole IP

The most intriguing set yet from them to me. Really hits the nostalgic factor and wow is it accurate but a bit expensive for non lego at 80 for 892 pieces. Is there a review?

Not yet it just came out yesterday but you get 10% off. The Lego version with the exclusive minifigures comes out this fall. Wait for the review and 15% off promo code.

Product page is showing a $10 coupon for me and the 15% promo you listed combine bringing it to $58.  I'll give it a shot at that price.

Thanks. I grabbed one as well. Get building for a chance to get it for free.

Is the Funwhole brand as good quality-wise as Pantasy?

I have only built the newsstand so far and her is my mini review of it posted back in March:

These are all original designs not stolen IP that come in boxes better than Lego and include some very unique elements that lego does not produce. I just did a cheap trial set, The Newsstand, for $28.50 and it includes a light kit. I have never built a Lego set with a light kit only light bricks and on this one it is totally integrated into the build so that nothing is visible. All very nice high quality printed parts and a horrible minifigure. The fit and finish was very good with no missing pieces and they do have a parts replacement option although I did not have to use it. The tolerances are so good that the clutch power is so strong that parts are difficult to separate which can be a bad thing.

I was thinking about picking up the Farmers Market and Lakeside Cottage but not sure if I want to spend more money on this line.

Update: I did pickup the other 2 sets from Amazon along with a farmer truck that goes with the market because they had 25% off plus 10% off and had a GWP promo that I received a lighted minifigure set limited to 200 units, but have not built them yet.

Wow, awesome. Sounds just as good as, if not better than Pantasy then! I've just finished building their Sherlock Holmes set over the weekend, and it was pretty incredible to be honest lol

Finished the Pantasy Retro Gumball Machine and it is definitely worth the $58. No missing pieces, no stickers, numbered bags, good build with a great assortment of parts. The only negatives would be the swirls in the previous posted pic on the flat gold tiles which aren’t even seen in the finished build so not sure why they were used instead of just grey or white, the instructions element placement is very hard to see outlined in a fine line of green and perhaps they could have included more capsules to fill the clear dome which although being packaged seperatly still had some minor scuffing.

I didn’t do the mini builds to fill the capsules yet, those are in 2 bags #6 because I will probably either fill it with large gumballs or put Lego minifigures in the capsules will see another day.

If I told you this was a $100 Lego set because of the huge dome elements and all of the gold and silver lacquered elements but you could get it for $80 you would be thrilled.

Build 7

Play 7

Display 8

Value 9

ETA: not pictured is you build a little toy shop with its own micro gumball machine in it and I guess with that and all of the micro builds to go in the capsules the play for a kid could be a 8 or even a 9

I never saw this lady before and found her classic English hard to understand at times but she has some good critiques of the set which is down to $128. Also at the end she has pictures of the next 3 modulars they are doing: bookshop, skate shop and theater.

I'd dearly love to hear her and Brick Clicker get into an argument.
