Ed Mack Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Dude is that really your house, or are you just messin with us?Seriously....no. That's Jeff's house. Quote
Quacs Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I pay 10K a year on my house in NJ. You're paying a HELL of a lot more than $10k in taxes for that place. Does the house have a name, or is it just "the Mack compound"? Quote
jaisonline Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I'm faced with a dilemma and I need some advice. I'm looking to buy the Mines of Moria (9473) to complete my LOTR collection. Right now I could buy it through Lego for about $80 and get the Jor El minifig, or...I could also buy it through Amazon for $62 and save $18. Should I buy it through Amazon or Lego? I guess the real question would be- is the Jor El minifigure worth it? buy from amazon using their chase credit card. then use the $ savings to buy the Jor-El next month when prices for it will be cheaper. Diabolos80 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 When my wife kicks me out for buying too much Lego, I'm crashing at Jeff's place. Quote
CNH1974 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Stay out of the pool and watch out for Oscar. Quote
Diabolos80 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 lol yeah I just saw Ed's Oscar the Grouch Award idea in another thread. Quote
Diabolos80 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Mines of Moria => Internet taxes => property taxes => The Macks have more money than me => Sesame Street. This thread gets around more than 2pac. Quote
Spartikis Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Do amazon, no taxes and youre saving $18. Jor-el is barely worth that, plus you have taxes on LEGO.com Quote

A third option is to watch for the Mines set on clearance. I have seen it on the shelves still at a few stores, soon to be marked down... Quote
