stephen_rockefeller Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 For those who have built the Arkham Asylum Breakout, do you find it a bit odd that there is a holding cell for Mr. Freeze but he is not a minifig included in the set? Guess I will just have to open one of my Artic Batman sets and steal one from that little set. Any ideas why he was left out? Quote
TheDarkness Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Pretty much as you said, clever play to make you buy the Arctic Batman set. Is he the only minifig missing from his cell? Quote
stackables Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 The original was the same way. Had cells for villains that were not included. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 What's so wierd about it? Simple answer is Mr. Freeze escaped earlier and that is why he is holding Aquaman hostage forcing Batman to don his Arctic suit. 1 Quote

LowestFormOfWit Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Incentive to buy other related LEGO sets. Why would they do that? Interesting counterexample, though, I was surprised the Vampyre Castle came with six moonstones considering each set brought its moonstone in its set. I guess they figured without all 6 the castle would lose its main feature, but then the argument becomes, why leave them in the smaller sets? Not going to even get into why the Zombies had a moonstone. Quote
TheDarkness Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Incentive to buy other related LEGO sets. Why would they do that? The same way you don't get all the Ninja Turtles or dwarves from The Hobbit in one set. Makes you spend more to complete it. And considering Lego is aimed at kids, they will be harassing their parents straight away for it! Smart marketing 1 Quote

Sorry, it's so hard to pull off on a forum sometimes. The lack of tone of voice. I didn't intend to bait a serious response. Quote
