Did they really clear them out in the US? Because last month or so I saw at my local toys r us store (Ontario) the Catwoman was selling for $15 or $16 each.

Many people reported clearances prices (some as low as $5-7), so just going off of that.

Too bad they ran out of Funhouses and the max Catwoman to get to Par for the freebie.

Funny, was thinking the same thing. Funhouse would be excellent right now; that`s one of the best medium (if not the best) sets of recent time IMO.

I'm sure this has been said a few times already on this thread, but I didn't have the time to go through it all.  Catwoman WAS OFFICIALLY RETIRED on the US website.  I saw it with my own eyes, and then went on to write a topic about how there was no "retiring soon" label applied to it.  I know people will call me a whiner, but I think it is incredibly shady of Lego to just un-retire a product like this.  I guess we never really know when things are "retired" anymore...

Holy necro-thread bump Batman!

Looks like $25 shipped for a new one on ebay. If you have been holding 8 years it could be time to cash in.

But if I sold them, my 6862's would be lonely (they've been together for so long).

Did this retail for $10?

On Cyber Monday 2013, msrp was $12.99 and sale price was $10.48.  Also, for a $50+ purchase, Lego.com provided a $10 Lego gift card ... Net cost was $8.48 plus tax minus 5% for VIP point value

I'm starting to think that this one just isn't going to be one my best LEGO investments.

Had a good chance like the 2006-2008 set. Then Lego decided to issue a Batman in nearly every Super Hero set. Then throw in a Catwoman every year or so.

We were also super high on that 2012 Superman / Lex Luthor mech set with 1970s styled Wonder-Women. That also turned out to be a turd.
