Ordering legos wholesale to sell in a store

Question

Posted

Anybody have info on how to apply to sell legos in a store?  My wife has a brick and mortar and wanted to start carrying collectible minifigs.  She's wondering how to order wholesale cases of them.

It's nearly impossible direct from Lego. If you do pass somehow Lego chooses what sets they will send you. If you just want figs it's prob easier just to order from minifigs plus https://minifiguresplus.com/

OK thanks for the info.  I figured it'd be difficult for a small store.  I've ordered from minifigs plus before but it's not enough of a discount to make it worthwhile at retail.

The stipulation that lego will decide what you get is often cited and would put many off. But then what model are people like minifiguresplus using as they only sell figs ?

That's exactly what I was thinking.  I emailed lego, will let you know if anything comes of it.

If they have a direct relationship with LEGO, it's a special arrangement because LEGO requires independent dealers to carry something like at least 90 skus across all products and have a defined group of themes represented in their products (e.g., Classic, City, Duplo, Friends, etc.).
