abri123 Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Anyone heard a UK price for this set yet? I've heard rumours of Quote
Stevenplays Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Even though I haven't really watched Ghostbusters, I will buy and support this set for one reason, and one reason only, the printed pieces, and the high quality box and instruction manual. Mostly the printed pieces, I hate stickers. It isn't because I can't put them on, it's just that after awhile they just like to peal off, prints from the Classic Space age are still here today! Quote
4gotAboutDre Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Can't wait for this set. I usually wait to buy a set I want for my personal collection until it is on sale at least 20% off somewhere but on this one, I might have to get my personal copy day one. It's such a great looking set. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote

biniou Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 $49,99 so if you compare with the 21101 Hayabusa (cuusoo) it means Quote
fondkick Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Do we have an ideas to the number's copy to this set ?? (to compare with the Roover !!) Quote
Migration Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 My guess would be that the Rover is the rarer of the two by a fairly large margin. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote
abri123 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 This should be a clue http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-Ghostbusters-ECTO-1-Cuusoo-21108-Limited-Edition-/331190246051?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item4d1c7a1aa3 Hi, Thanks. I think this post or a similar ebay seller, is where I got my price rumour from, though I'm hoping for a bit less ideally. Quote

shootyb Posted May 10, 2014 Posted May 10, 2014 I don't think this should be compared to the Rover. The Back to the Future set is probably a better comparison. Quote
exciter1 Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Well, it looks like someone already MOC'd the Ghostbuster fire house to sell. Actually, this guy says this was built from the original CUUSOO designer's instructions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lego-Ghostbusters-HQ-Firehouse-Custom-Made-100-Complete-Spare-Parts-/121334465114?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item1c4019025a Quote

Anakinisvader Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I'm also surprised by that. I would have expected a lot of interior details for that kind of price. They aren't bidding on the building. It's all for the Hot Dog Stand. The building is just gravy. Quote
mcortez Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I haven't looked at the "original" instructors for the cuusoo listing (I didn't even know they were available) -- but I find it hard to imagine you couldn't bricklink this for less. Or are those dark red pieces particularly rare? Quote
emazers Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Nobody should be panic buying the Ecto-1,or when they see the Sold Out sign on Lego, lego know's that they have a Gold Mine on this set. since its a License Movie Piece it will be out at least a year, just like the Back to the Future Set. "So Don't Panic" You will have plenty time to get as many as you want. 2 Quote

MartinP Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Panic buying? No. Quick flipping in US? Very likely. The set will probably run out in a few days in the US. Then people can flip some of their sets for a nice profit for a couple weeks and then it will come back in stock. Quote
