Jeff Mack Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Just want to say how this one set really caught my eye. What great detail and would love to see this one make its way through. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/36088 Quote
JoshTX Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 The Ecto-1 is nicely detailed. I hope this guy gets the 10,000 supporters. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Already supported this one soon as I came across Brent Waller's build of the firehouse and Ecto-1 in his flickr gallery some months ago. I have seen a few other projects for Ghostbusters but this one stuck out to me as well. You can see just how much of the guy's heart and soul went into this. I still love the heck out of both films and the animated tv series; they really are some of the most well done stuff in history. Quote
comicblast Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 When I first saw this thread, I didn't click on the link because I thought it was a different one, that I thought was really lame. This one looks very good. A few custom minifigure parts that I really, like the receding hairline on the on one of the Ghostbusters. LOL. Rotta the Hutt in the second picture. I really would like to buy this one, and for it to be a full fledged CUUSOO. As Blackjack said, the Ghostbusters HQ looks like a modular, though it doesn't have a huge amount of detail, it still is outstanding and eye catching! Quote
TheDarkness Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I saw this one on eurobricks awhile ago, it actually is what got me to sign up for CUUSOO. I would purchase it in a heartbeat 1 Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Anyone else notice they used rotta the hutt for slimer??? *EDIT looks like comicblast did! Quote
Msudawgs56 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I just voted too. That set looks awesome! 1 Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Funny enough, I was working on a Blog about a my fantasy of a Lego Ghostbusters theme. Glad someone is trying! We need a Lego Bill Murray. Quote
wallwebber Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Looks great! I hope he wins! I voted for it. 4,696 supporters now. Quote
Darth Lego Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I voted for it as well. I think this LEGO version really gives this theme/building justice. The car is sweet also! Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Where is the Stay Puffed MArshmellow Man though? 1 Quote
Darth Lego Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Where is the Stay Puffed MArshmellow Man though? That would be a huge maxifigure! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JVkonHpxKk Quote
peculiar23 Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 This does look great, I added my support and noted that it would make a great display set for me or the perfect intro to the ghostbusters franchise for my kids. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 That would be a huge maxifigure! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JVkonHpxKk "NOBODY STEPS ON A CHURCH IN MY TOWN!" I swear, any of us could literally fill up a thread with all the qoutes from that one film alone. ....And then there is the sequel. ^_^ Quote
TheDarkness Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 The video game released a couple of years ago wasn't too shabby in the quotes department either. Quote
spener90 Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 One is Harry and the other is Lando! Doesn't get any better than that! Quote
kishidan69 Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Agree, voted for this set too. Love the Venkman minifig in this one. Quote
bmw328i2008 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I just voted for this and have to say if it is approved it might become one of those legendary collectibles. Quote
oldsmobile Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Since all of the approved Cuusoo sets have been relatively small, I doubt that this Ghostbusters proposal will be greenlighted in its current form. The Ghostbusters Cadillac by itself seems closer in size to the proposals Lego has accepted in the past. Quote
