TheOrcKing Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 This one literally came out of nowhere. I seriously never caught wind of this before just now. Here's the article on Brickset. Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 No flags?? Other than that looks pretty cool! Quote
emes Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 That's probably the coolest looking architecture set I've seen... Quote
CNH1974 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Looks good. Are the architecture sets good for investment? It's not a theme I have really thought about. Quote
Guest ph4tb0i Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Looks good. Are the architecture sets good for investment? It's not a theme I have really thought about. I think it can be but it depends what set you get. But that can be said for just about every other lego set out there.. lol. Quote
redeemed763 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Looks good, I like the way they pulled off the fountain in such a tiny set. As with all architecture sets, I can tell that when they release the price, I won't be thrilled, let see, 600 pieces, they will probably ask $70 for that set and I bet it weighs less than a pound after you build it. Blackjack Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 If there's a winner for the theme, it would be this. Quote
kerrmando Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I for one love all this series, this is a great addition Quote

Maverick2k1 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 No flags?? Other than that looks pretty cool! Even if they did add flags it would inevitably be stickers, so maybe it's a good thing they didn't add? Quote
Blackjack Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Looks like it's going to be priced around $75. :/ Quote
rcdb1984 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 No flags?? Other than that looks pretty cool! +1 if anyone has ever driven by the buildling, that stands out like nobody's business. I think they could have done the flags like they did with the old castle series where it was a square plastic piece that clipped on the pole. Quote

Rich B Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 This one literally came out of nowhere. I seriously never caught wind of this before just now. Here's the article on Brickset. Wow this looks really cool, I'm liking these Architecture sets more and more! Quote
comicblast Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 This one looks really great. We can probably expect the price to be $70 based on the Architecture series higher Price per Piece ratios. Awesome set, and if I can get one for around $55, I will definitely pick it up! Could be my favorite one so far.... Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 11, 2013 Author Posted May 11, 2013 Nice to hear the responses for an Architecture set being overwhelmingly positive, and I agree this is certainly one of the better designs. The price will probably be the downer as usual. Being an Architecture set containing 597 parts may come out to around $80. Quote
markhan Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Are those a bunch of Light Bluish Gray Levers? This set could make a lot more of those available to builders who need them for their 10179 Millennium Falcons :) Quote
srm_520 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I'm definitely liking the color scheme - but wow this one was out of right field. Never would have thought about this as a set in a million years. Anyone else hoping for St, Peter's next? Quote
srm_520 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Oh and my guess for pricing will be around $60-$70 if it continues in line with other sets in the theme, Most large sets run between .09 to .11 cents per piece and medium sets usually go for around .10-.12. Should be interesting. Hopefully there are some unique bricks in this one too. Quote
srm_520 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 One more thing - 21018? What happened to the Leaning Tower of Pisa? Quote
TheDarkness Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 It looks interesting but it doesn't scream buy me like the Robie House or Imperial Hotel Quote
TheOrcKing Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 One more thing - 21018? What happened to the Leaning Tower of Pisa? It seems the numbers were confused initially but that information has been corrected now. 21015 is the Leaning Tower of Pisa, 21018 is the United Nations Headquarters. And 21017 is Imperial Hotel just to toss that in there. Quote
