Fcbarcelona101 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 There is one strange thing going on with my LEGO VIP account. So, yesterday I ordered two B-Wings online without using my available point balance, then went to the actual store and purchase one more, and that put my VIP balance at $ 50. I used those 50 on the same day to get the 10240 X-Wing, but for some reason it took a very long time and several tries to apply the points to the final bill (all in store with a manager). Today I signed in into my LEGO online account and see that my VIP Point balance still says $50 available. I go ahead and add a 10240 to my bag just to see what happens and it goes right ahead and deducts the $ 50 from my final bill (Did not purchase as I only wanted to check what was going on). Has this happened to anyone before? it just seems like I could go ahead and use the $ 50 I had before using them on the X-Wing AGAIN. Crazy. I might call Customer Service but I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts. Quote
exciter1 Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Sounds pretty wild if they are still there. I know when buying online the VIP points don't get added until they charge your credit card. I haven't received any credit for my B-Wing's yet. Quote
Ed Mack Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 The LEGO S@H system is a little disjointed right now. Quote
JoshTX Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 I would be careful about trying to use it twice. Whatever your opinion happens to be regarding ethics is one thing, but if their systems somehow update and catch that you knowingly used the points twice, you could be banned from the program or from shopping with them. I guess it just depends on whether or not the risk is worth it to you. Quote

I will be waiting a few days before calling customer service and letting them know. Quote

Sorry I wasn't trying to imply that you were going to, but it could have seemed that way. Quote

No worries ;) Quote
