Bitcoin and other forms of digital currency

To be honest, I don't see any proof that Golden Sacks got involved in the first place. There's also so much fake crypto news going around that few of us know what's BS and what isn't. IBM were supposed to be heavily involved with Stellar and that's also not to be trusted. My buddies at IBM have tried to find out for me and came up with.... nothing.

Personally...

That´s how the actor emphasized the phrase when he said it. The series is called One Foot in the Grace and is not a Tabby biopic but in fact a quite amusing sitcom about another grumpy old man.

One Foot in the Grace? Did she like "Toed in the Hole" then? ?

Yes, it was a superb sitcom and Victor was just as funny as Grandad in "Bread" which was set in Liverpool.

As I type, crypto is tanking even more. Most are down >90% so far this year. I very much doubt it'll ever recover. If it does, millions will bail, crashing it all within minutes.

I'm not sure if y'all have read the recent crypto news. It appears that ETH is in freefall (-50% in a month!) with a real risk of imminent collapse. Even Vitalik Buterin has now admitted that ETH has no intrinsic value (no crypto does really!) and that the Ethereum network has some serious scaling issues. At this time yesterday, I had 50 ETH in my wallet and I now have none - phew! I converted about 90% of it to XLM and LTC as they are on different blockchains and both have more real purpose, not crap like Cryptokitties, other games and casinos. I am now in the process of offloading ALL my remaining ERC-20 compliant tokens as the current issues and FUD is bound to spread across the entire Ethereum network, taking most down with it.

I'm hedging my bets by keeping my last 10% of my ETH sale in cash so that I can jump back in if (more likely when) it drops to €1. I'm spreading it across several exchanges so that I can reap the rewards if there's a flash crash like the $0.10 that happened on GDAX a while back. You never know.... some smart-arse may fix Ethereums' issues once and for all (another hard fork?) meaning that ETH (or its offspring given away via the fork) could, once again, rise to new heights. It's unlikely, but I have to take a punt just in case. What LEGO set would give you 1000x within a year? (Even 1x is a bonus these days!)... LOL

Not only has Ethereum exposed it's major shortcomings, the ICO scammers are now also cashing in from the sales of their bogus tokens which were bought using ETH. Since ICOs are fast becoming unpopular, hopefully they will become a thing of the past.

If I wasn't already involved in crypto, I certainly wouldn't bother now. There are so many that have borrowed heavily and invested their life savings - bloody idiots! It's plainly obvious that as soon as an idea or fad goes mainstream, the gravy train heads further towards the Cassandra Crossing.

"Too many cooks spoil the broth" How true!

I only really understood the last line of that post.

You are a prime candidate to run a mile or tread very carefully ?

I've spent many hours reading up on the subject, analysing data and watching market movements... and... I still get my fingers burnt! I'm still struggling to find out the purpose of most of it and whether it'll ever take off. I was only in it for quick profits, but proper money talks and always will IMHO. If it was that good, banks would be all over it like chicken-pox by now.

Only dabble with what you have spare. Your grandmother, clothes, house, car, dog, children's iPad... and... wife must not be sold ?

Ripple's on a roll.... I bought back 10,000 XRP yesterday and it's nearly doubled overnight:

ETH is still very flaky, especially now that the founders think it could possibly hit zero. Read up on XRP, things are beginning to happen ?

ETH seems to have stabilized a bit in the last week ... at crap levels, but seems fairly stable.

If you had a wee amount of ETH, would you roll it into XRP or just leave it for turds and giggles knowing you don't really need the money?

I'd move ETH to XRP in a heartbeat which is what I did last night when I saw another XRP spike. I now only hold XRP and the remainder in € and USDT. I'm avoiding £ due to the ongoing Brexit farce ?

I've sold all my XRP at €0.64 a few minutes ago which gave a €2,500 profit since yesterday for doing nothing. I'm buying back in at €0.55, any second now..

haha!  hey free anything is good.

I'm not really ahead in crypto..

I was in may, by quite a lot and then let it sit and it lost value.  I figure this time when things are up, I'll at least skim the earnings off.

You can still day-trade now and skim good profits. I've been skimming XRP all weekend with 2% up/down limits., easy money why hodl?

I don't have time for it,  this is just play money for me.

my day job pays me well enough.

Nor do I really, but my total log-in time on Binance, CEX & Coinbase was about 30min, I just tweaked the buy/sell limits a bit, sit back and check a day later. I lost €33 today, but it's going in the right direction for me tomorrow. Even though it's very volatile these days, it's a whole lot easier then LEGO was. I even use a double-up strategy sometimes which is banned in some casinos ?

I did a bit of bedtime reading last night and there's no special announcements imminent. I have a feeling prices will now continue to tank for a while and I'll keep an eye out for the first blip or positive news. I'm now 100% cash and will buy back again soon.

How´s BTC doing?

Not good, down 20% over the last 2 months, but it's still the best "performer". Either there's gonna be a massive rally at the end of the year (like 2017) or it's all going to your avatar.

Yah. Seems that in one month, the interannual value will be down on November 2018, when all the craziness started.

Children ... we get it.

Let's move on or..

This was surprisingly easy to find already made. I wonder if I'll get in trouble from the EU for posting it?

I thought there was only one child on this thread. Anyway, I'm glad that you removed him/her/it ?

You should've seen the PMs I had, but this isn't the time or place to post them.
