LegoPodcaster
I am looking for any opinions on the highest price these two sets will hit. Also, are either of these sets officially discontinued yet? I know you can't buy either of these on LEGO.com Thanks in advance.

The Burrow is still heading up in value, while the Republic Dropship has leveled off. If I had to pick one, I would pick The Burrow. It still is increasing in value. Not that the 10195 won't appreciate well in the future, but at $350+ for a MISB, there is less room to grow for a set that never really got any love from STAR WARS fans. These Harry Potter sets might really explode in the near term. When the average LEGO and Harry Potter fan realizes the theme is ending, there might be a rush to buy whatever HP sets are left at retail prices. I really like the Dropship, but it was pricey from the start. I see it hitting around $400-$450. The Burrow is a surprisingly large set. I can see that hitting $175 to maybe $200. BuildIT
The Dropship is a great model, and whilst I agree with all the comments, it will probably keep increasing in value, although at a reduced rate. I managed to locate two of these at toy dealers whilst on my travels to Cape Town - with price tags of $530 and $540!!!!!! I think I will just have to pass on this and hope to locate one on ebay at a far more realistic price. It is unfortunate being here in Africa and buying LEGO - we get crippled with astronomical import taxes and list prices are staggeringly high when compared to the US or even UK. To all the Brickpickers in Europe and the US, consider yourselves very lucky indeed to be able to invest at competitive prices.

We are spoiled here in the US. I would be interested to see a breakdown of prices for the same set[for each country the set is sold in(with a currency conversion of course) and to see what people actually pay for LEGO sets...and the reason why some countries charge so much for taxes and the like]. It is too bad that the LEGO retail market is not equal around the world. It makes our job at Brickpicker that much harder.
