BricksBrotha Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 Theoretically, only Agatha, Bishop and Moon Knight will be distinguished by weight. The other 9 will be rolling the dice. Still holding out hope for a more accurate way, ie serial or id numbers. Quote

Pseudoty Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 So this is “classic” Lego, they try to make it harder for people to get what they want a complete set and end up making it easier. https://www.thebrickfan.com/possible-way-of-figuring-out-lego-marvel-studios-collectible-minifigures-series-2-71039-characters/ Some are calling Moon Knight the most detailed minifigure ever made. scratchdesk Posted August 12, 2023 Posted August 12, 2023 I’m a bit skeptical. They had similar codes on 6 pack figure boxes didn’t they? I wouldn’t be surprised if there are many runs with many code combinations. Hope I’m wrong, but the sample is too small at this point unless more folks have chimed in. Quote
Tonka858 Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 I hope when we start shipping sets it will be just matching 3 identical codes per box Quote
exciter1 Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 These should be shipping soon from MinifiguresPlus. I've seen several reports of boxes being ripped open and ransacked in Walmarts. 1 1 Quote

Pseudoty Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I saw the original picture from Walmart getting what I thought was blown out of proportion everywhere 1 person at 1 store opened them but didn’t steal they just wanted a set, but now it is up to 3 😂 1 Quote
spener90 Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 I’m not trying to justify this, but let’s just entertain why someone might do this. No more smooshing ability means if you don’t know other routes you could be stuck making purchase after purchase attempting to complete a set. Or, you instead just open them up to narrow the odds. I’ve always found the mini figures in this format lame and sinking to a low level. It invites nefarious actions to collecting them, since it’s not as easy as go to store and buy the ones you want. Actually at 1 particular Walmart in my area, people / kids(?) often ripped open CMF packages even when they were still smooshable. Putting all LEGO sets in locked shelves probably solved most of these for Walmart stores. Ironically, the above store refused to put up lock-able shelves. Quote
